Although we now call the Oklahoma "home", I'm a native Louisianian who loves researching family lines with my husband., I think this site is a great source of information and am so glad I came upon it. Thank you to all my fellow researchers and cemetery-lovers who make this site possible.|

Yes our family has a long tradition of service.
I flew combat in the Vietnam War and wrote about it on my blog

Thank you for creating the memorial and for linking it to his parents. His father, Col Stephens Thompson Norvell, was my Great Uncle, a decorated veteran of the Civil War and with Teddy Roosevelt at San Juan Hill. All the best

Glad to be able to help!

Yes I can and will be glad to tell you how to get to Collins Cemetery.
Take Hwy. 22 east of Ponchatoula,La.about5-6 miles.
Cross the 3 bridges (one being the Tangipahoa River Bridge).
You will see a huge new sub-division on the right.
Take the next right (Lees Landing Rd.).There is what's left of Edward's Saw Mill across from this road.
Go about1/2 to 3/4 mile.
Take a right on Collins Cemetery Rd.
The cemetery is at the very end of that road.
