James Cross/Riverview Cemetery
Was wondering if you know an approx location of grave site. I claimed your photo request, but know this cemetery is quite large and somewhat dense. Any addtl info will help in my locating.
Thx in advance,
Carolyn

RE: Ruby Berkebile Collett.....b. 1893
They never actually divorced just separated. She was buried near her sisters. There was an odd family story about it, which is not considered to be true.

RE: Owens Cemetery, Athens County, Ohio
You are certainly welcome. Please know that if you would like any memorials transferred to you, I would be happy to oblige.

Also - there is one grave site at Owens Cemetery that has haunted my conscience since first seeing it. The memorial is # 159118491. If, in your travels, you find any information regarding this "Run Away Slave" and could share the information with me, I would be forever in your debt.

Thanks for the nice compliment. - Jim

I'm sure you've seen James on the 1850 census, but there is a John W b 1838 on findagrave in Riverview Cemetery Parkersburg. Is this the son JW? If so he can be linked to mother Elizabeth also. Jeremiah's military record in case you make a memorial or care to add to hers,
Private, Capt. Martin Kitzmiller's Co, 57th Regiment, Virginia Militia. This record indicates he was married January 16, 1812 Wood County Viginia. Died May 9 or 18 1852 Wood County.

RE: Rita Mary Noell transfer
You're welcome. Always glad when a memorial is with someone who has a connection to them. I assumed Irene just remarried quickly because she was widowed with young children. Do you have a newspapers.com subscription? I went back and searched again and I found 2 articles that mention Albert Schrage in 1936 & 1938 in St. Aloysius Home. It doesn't give an age for him but both articles happen to have pictures. If you don't have a sub. and this would be of interest to you or your sil - send me your email & it will let me share via email then you should be able to download the clipping.
