Hi Jim, I'm doing some research on the Barnes family that appears to have purchased "Pleasure", the tract of land Robert Bradford owned and was wondering if you have any information on William Barnes, the one who purchased it. Any info would be welcome. Thanks a bunch.
General Maxwell Davenport Taylor and General George Catwell Marshall Jr. are third cousins twice removed
The first common ancestor for Maxwell Taylor and George Marshall Jr. is Robert Bradford.

When I posted the Morris memorials + many others in 2007 it was from an earlier census that just listed what was on the markers.
The info you supplied has been added and in the bio you have been referenced if more info is wanted.
You can post the marker photo to the original memorial 19712021 and delete the later duplicate memorial.

Hi, Jim! Thanks for the note. I am not the manager of the other memorial so I can't do a thing. If you're within the guidelines of a transfer, the original creator can transfer the memorial to you; otherwise, yours is the duplicate and should be deleted. Other people have contacted Find a Grave and have had duplicates merged into one but I've never done that myself. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. Take care.

I am the great-great- great granddaughter of Archibald and Elizabeth Guthrie. I know the cemetery is in Whitley Twp. But do you have a road name or exact address for the cemetery. My family would like to visit but are unable to find it.

The photo I wanted to use is your Green Mount Cemetery Sign Photo--Stephen Adamson, his wife Martha Knight Adamson and their son Franklin are buried in Green Mount. You and I are not related as far as I know, and my tree has not been made public yet, soon I hope. Thanks for the use of the photo. wrmcferrin

May I have your permission to use your photos, that pertain to my family, in my Ancestry Tree?

No I don't think he took a photo of the tombstone. but somehow he collected photos of most of the family. I did manage to scan the photos those I have. David had a large box of Bradford research and I only had access to it for a few days I grabbed what I could and so wish I could get it again but doubt that will happen. I will try again to get in touch with Dave. He did all of the research. After his daughter died he seemed to change and became quite reclusive and we lost total contact with him until last year. He contacted the family but has since gone back to Oregon and we have heard nothing since then. It makes sense that Robert wouldn't have been burried too far away since the cemetery is abt 10 miles away if he didn't go to live with any of his kids. You found Margaret there? what did her tombstone say? and do you have any idea about her last name??
