Bio Photo ** Do not copy my picture to another memorial on Find A Grave. Ask for me to copy them. **

PLEASE use the "EDIT" tab on the Memorial for any additions, corrections or transfers, etc.
************

On ancestry.com they have "U.S., Burial Registers, Military Posts and National Cemeteries, 1862-1960", don't trust the index, LOOK at the IMAGE! The last column says what happen to the body.
http://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=3135

That index should be named "What happen to those who died at the Wood VA hospital"

----------------------
Request for Family Links / Transfers !! Use EDIT tab on memorial !!

I have been getting a number of weird requests in the last few months.

1. I double check all requests.
My checks many times add family links to the memorials.

2. If you tell me they are your relatives. I must assume they are my relatives too. I have the better claim. Tell me how your related!
----------------------

Been doing genealogy since 2000. Been photographing tombstones since 2002.

If you take a picture of a marker you should check the plot for other members of that family. Normally all members of a plot are family members even it they may have different surnames

To me the plot is more important then the one grave. If you find more family in the plot and want credit for them tell me and I will add the memorials and request pictures.

If I take a marker I will always check the area for more members of the family or take the others in the plot.

If you want a high-resolution image I keep the photo about a month or so. Or if local I can get them again.

Thanks for trying hard, but it is really is strange.
By the way I do not like the new look. I think it is a bit disorganised and not very well layed out.
Thanks again and best regards

Thanks so much for the great photo of his grave marker. As you might have noticed from his profile, he was father to many children and has hundreds of living descendants. Your photo will be appreciated for years to come.

Hi Phillip,
Thanks for the great (and speedy) photo of Jim & Mary's headstone. And thank you, as well, for linking them as husband and wife. I just sent you a couple of changes to be made to Jim's memorial. I appreciate your making those changes.

RE: Frances Dragan
It is just so sad to me that her grave isn't even marked. She had been forced into a (back alley)abortion at the time by her family and died from it and to finally have found her grave - after travelling to her homeland (Slovenia) to dig through books and books of handwritten birth diaries to find her real name and birthdate with this as the result, is really sad. As I couldn't be there myself - I thank you for your volunteer work.

Phillip thank you for taking the time to look for my grandmothers grave. The Cemetery there says she was buried in Section 1 Plot: Row 14 and Grave 23.
So from what you are saying; is there no rows or graves marked out in that area?
