Bio and Links
Bio Photo When my younger sister died five years ago I added her info then to the Irville, Ohio, Cemetery but never was involved again until around three months ago. Our one son gave my wife a laptop last Christmas, she had Family Tree Maker by February with membership to Ancestry.com after that which I decided that we were the only ones capable in our family groups to get our lineage out to the world. We were involved in the O'Flaherty family reunion in the Shenandoah Valley since 1995 and I had put out a family newsletter from 1999-2006 but the reunion last occurred in 2005 so it ceased to exist since you can't have a newsletter w/o a reunion. However, with all the pictures and stories from those newsletters it just became part of our bucket list. I have a portable scanner now and have captured probably 300+ since this past summer of 2012.

RE: Wm English in Willow Dale
Thank you so much for the background on William English, my paternal great x3 grandfather. This was very valuable information for us; I just sent it off to my 88-year-old father!

RE: Aaron and Gladys Cole
You're very welcome. I believe his son is also buried at Ft. Rosecrans, #3393040. I'll get a photo on my next trip if you'd like.

RE: Mary Adeline Bolen Judd photos
The Martha Bolen in the photo with Robert Randolph was born in Tennessee. Someone has linked her to the Edward Bolen tree and I don't think she fits. Just my assessment.

RE: Mary Adeline Bolen Judd photos
I am seeing a tree with a Martha Bolen married to Robert Randolph. Martha seems to be a next younger sibling of Mary in that tree, between Mary and Samantha. I see that they have put a smaller picture of just Martha on the correct lady in that tree but I think they attached the picture of Martha and Robert to Mary's profile. So that is what you see as a hit on Mary for that picture. I need to investigate because I don't have her (Martha)in my tree. Thanks. I'm going through a geneology right now compiled by someone else in the Kuhl/Cool line that is about 150 typed pages long and I've been putting off going through this thing page by page as I knew it would be time consuming. It was written in 1977 by someone dead now and bringing all the people up to date as I enter them is the catch. I'm not quite half way through and have been doing this for over a month. This geneology has my husband's Cools and Judds so I figured it really needed to be digitized some time. This lady's research seems to fit with very few errors that I've found with what's online. But I will look into the Martha Bolen tree to see if we have another person that needs to be added in our Bolens.

Mary Adeline Bolen Judd photos
I have only two photos of the whole family - one with Samuel Perry Judd and Mary Adeline Bolen Judd and the children and a second taken the same day with all of the in-laws. They were taken by a photographer named Clark before Samuel died in 1912. I think that others have made small individual pictures from my originals and they've been shared all over. Would you want me to post them to Mary and/or Samuel's pages? Darla

C Frank Judd memorial # 17104547
I see that you submitted a photo to Columbus Franklin Judd or C. Frank Judd that is a round tintype showing Frank in a swim suit holding his right arm. That photo is one I first placed on Ancestry in 2008 under my ID of Darla_Bower. It is of my husband's great great grandfather. I have a private tree but it was orignally shared to a public tree (Lucinda1234)and from there has seemed to have lost the fact that it really belongs to my husband and I. I don't mind the sharing but would like to have the credit for the photo of our tintype. I would like to add information to the photo. Frank is holding his right arm because it is missing. He lost it in a tan bark mill accident when he was 5 years old. He was with his older brother Ed (Ambrose Edward Judd) and Ed had seen his father shut off the machine before and did so quickly enough to save Frank's life. I also shared a photo of Frank swimming with his family and wearing the same swim suit on Ancestry. The photo of the family group you also posted on John Roscoe Judd's memorial # 106533001 is mine also. Lucinda1234 got it from me and she also has the photo of the family swimming. Frank is shown in the studio photo and you can see his right arm in his sleeve hanging a bit awkwardly as he doesn't have an arm in the sleeve. He died abut six weeks after the photo was taken. Thank you for your trouble and if you have any questions, please reply. Darla Miller Bower
