Opal Missouri White
Dear Mr. Scruggs,

I would very much like to manage my Aunt Opal's memorial. She never married, and was very good to me and my sister as we were growing up.
I would like to be able to do this as a small gesture of caring for the kind lady she was. I hope you will be willing to transfer the management to me, her niece, Kim Clendaniel. My father was Arthur White, who was her youngest brother. Opal was sweet and kind to us kids and caring to her step-mother Dora Belle (my grandmother).
Thank you very, very much!!

RE: Stafford White
I am sorry it took so long for me to respond!!!
Yes - Stafford was the oldest of Othneil and Dora Belle's 8 children.
He was my Dad's half brother and a full brother to Opal Missouri.

I corrected the information on my Grandmother's biography. Very sorry for the mix-up.

RE: McComas
My great-grandmother was Martha McComas from the Beech Fork area. She was married to Berry Adkins.
Could there by any connection to the McComas's?

RE: Stafford White
Yes. Stafford was the oldest child born to Othneil, but my Grandmother Dory was not actually his Mother but his step-mother. His first wife died when Stafford and Opal were young and he then married my Grandmother Dory. They had the other 6 children together.
I never new her siblings - only Aunt Blanche. The information I have was from and from census records. I too have the same photo you posted.
Thank you for the information!
Best regards,
Kim Clendaniel

Charles S "Charley" Stowers #131405077
Ken,thank you for the info about the Stowers. If you would reread the first paragraph I think you put Charles name in the place of Joseph. Joseph and Martha Ann Payne married in 1850. Joseph & Martha are buried at the Sand Fork cemetery Lincoln county,WV. William Andrew Stowers was my great grandfather . I have been trying to verify Martha Ann's father. The only info I have that his name was Billy Payne.

You're welcome
I received an email from you thanking me for the picture I took of Evaline Jarrell Oxley's grave. It was my pleasure. In return I would like to thank you for taking the time to send me a message. I really enjoy going out and taking the pictures but a lot of people get their picture and just move on to another request without so much as a a simple message giving thanks. If there is anything else I can do, just ask.

RE: Benjamin J Green
Hi Ken,
In regards to Benjamin Green. In a 1860 census Benjamin Franklin Green B: abt 1832 is married to Eliza Jane Green B: abt 1837 with children Roxalenia Green
Jerusha Green. I didn't create the memorial. I would say that the one that you have is different from the one that I requested.
Thanks JPauley
