|Patti Hanks||John and Sarah (Wright) Smith|
Dave, Thank you for the photos of John and Sarah Smith's headstones. My maiden name is Smith and John is my 3rd great grandfather.
There is some confusion on findagrave.com about the location of John and Sarah's graves. They are also listed as being buried in the Little Beaver Cemetery.
I don't know how to handle this to make a correction. I'd like to come and visit the cemeteries myself to know for sure where they are buried, but if these grave stones are at the Rocky Spring Cemetery I believe this is correct.
Someone has added a father for John Smith on family search.org assuming that the burial information for him at the Little Beaver Cemetery is correct. They've given John the middle initial of "M" and I don't believe this is correct. I spent many hours at the Little Beaver courthouse and have collected several documents relating to his estate. None of them give a middle initial.
I'm hoping that by posting this e-mail I may find someone who has more information about John's parents.

William Smith was John and Sarah (Wright) Smith's son. I'm sure he would have been buried close to them, so his stone is probably missing. Since the Wright stone is so hard to read I'll use it for both husband and wife. I appreciate your time and effort on my behalf.

Dave, Thank you so much for taking the pictures at Rocky Spring Cemetery. Were you unable to find stones for William Smith and Alexander Wright? If so, let me know and I will remove them from the list. Thanks again for your help. Great pictures!

Thanks for taking the picture of this tombstone for me. I keep a link on the Ancestry page for her. This picture is excellent confirmation of names and dates.

Thank you so much for this photo! We have had such a difficult time tracking his death date and final resting place (his widow and family left and moved to Ohio). I appreciate this!
