U.S. Army veteran.|
I'm a military researcher / historian whose primary area of interest is the World War II and Korean War eras. But my never-ending goal is to try to acknowledge the service of all our country's warriors who have honorably served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
To help achieve this goal, I created the Military Hall of Honor in 2013 to honor all those veterans, living and deceased, and use it along with Find A Grave. MHOH now has over 312,000 Honoree Records. Membership is free and available to all who wish to contribute military records, bios, photos, honor the military with tributes, leave remembrances, etc.

Thank you for the virtual flower (medal) that you left for Great-Uncle Leo - that's how he was always referred to in the family. I've only known what a hero he was in the past year after doing some research. No one ever told any stories about him - that would have been wonderful to hear. There used to be the the Davis - Lewis family reunions in Jackson County - would you be related? Thank you again.

Happy to be able to get the info from the Morehouse Enterprise - I'd suggest that you sort the articles and pictures so that they tell a better tale
Thanks for the photo! LG

Hello Charles - thank you for transferring this memorial for my brother to me. And especially thank you for creating it in the first place. As you noted, he was KIA in Vietnam on hill 875 19 Nov 1967. Very significant battle in Vietnam. He also has a memorial on Virtualwall.org. If anyone wanted to look him up they should do it by name.
