I am working on the Burns/Knapp/Isaacs/Keltner family trees. All are buried in Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois and Kansas. Could use some help photographing their graves. You may use the photographs that I take for any purpose. I don't consider them to be copyrighted.|

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I was new when I took the picture and I didn't know to check the accept messages box. I am glad I could be of assistance in your search.

I thought maybe you'd want to add it to his memorial.

The way I read it is his name is Paul Herold Reppold. His son is Emil Reppold and Emil's wife is Emile Reppold. I also assume that their child is Gottieb Reppold who is buried in same cemetery. But then again I just capture the photos....lol.

Glad to have been able to help you out. In my own retirement, I've committed myself to gradually obtain information of as many civil war veterans in my county as possible for application to 'find a grave', and also to add monument photos to those already listed on the site but have no photos. Also collecting some detailed information about their service record for my local Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War organization. So, while I'm involved in the cemeteries, why not try to locate some special requests from 'find a grave', as well. I'm glad to be on the team with you and Jim and all the others now. Continued good luck to you on your venture.

You are welcome for the photos. The photos are front and back, his name on the front and the wives names are engraved on the reverse side.

I have a question for you on photographing graves. 1. If there is no flowers in the vase, do you take flowers from another for the picture. Also, if the flowers cast a shadow on the name and/or date, do you still use that one and maybe take an upclose one without flowers? Just trying to learn graveyard ethics. Also, one of your graves vase was missing, so what should I do in that case. Maybe I should have laid flowers over the missing vase area? Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

Wasn't 100% sure if it was the right grave stone cause I didn't see her name Hester and also the spelling of Tiaden instead of Tjaden but glad it was the right one. She share the same headstone as Christian.
