Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always been fascinated by old cemeteries and the paranormal. {Ghosts don't scare me, people do!} I lived my whole life behind a huge cemetery. Many times a week I would walk among the 200 year old markers at Union Cemetery, Old Aldrich grounds and the Old Bank Cemetery and feel that they all had a story to tell. Many, many children died in their early age and it's too bad that many markers were just unnamed stones or they didn't have markers. When I do find a grave without a monument, I will place flowers and photograph the plot where they are buried.
My lineage: Denomme, Morel, Doire, Defosses, Lanoue, Metivier,Provencal, Bergeron, Lafontaine,

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.

All updates/corrections/transfers can be sent using the Edit/SAC process.

NOTE: You have my permission to use any photo I've taken and posted on FAG in your own family research. A note of credit would be appreciated.

Currently working on updating Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, RI and plot numbers for Slatersville Cemetery, North Smithfield, RI

Can't find them on FAG? Send me an email and I'll glady help you find your relatives!

Wrong year of death
Hello again. Memorial# 64341938 for Remi Rondeau, he died in 1906 but the memorial says 1886. His stone is engraved as being 1906. Could you please correct the year of death? Thank you very much!

RE: Aldrich family photo
Hello cousin and yes I'm "MBarry97". I have come across an amazing amount of photo's, journals from my great grandmother Lucinda Aldrich Clark Cook and have just started rescanning some of the original pictures that were "pictures of pictures". I hope to be able to update the Clarks and Aldrich's photo to find a grave. It's my "New project".

Two memorials for the same person
Hello,

I am working on my family tree and I came across a relative that has two memorials on Find A Grave. Her name is Alice Chauvin (Maiden name) Memorial# 63864810 and her married name is Alice Cartier Memorial# 63864285. She is buried in Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket. She was the wife of Aime Cartier. Not sure if there should be two memorials for one person.

Aldrich family photo
I am currently rescanning the Aldrich, Clark and Thayer photo's from my great grandmother's photo album that you have posted. So you might want to wait and not upload anymore till I have the better quality ones posted/updated on ancestry. Thank you, Brenda Barry

Jacob Whitman
You have Jacob Whitman and his wife Hannah Hartshorn buried at Swan Point Cemetery, but Jacob died in 1802 and Hannah in 1811. Swan Point Cemetery wasn't established until 1846. Do you know which cemetery they were originally interned in?

No I am not. If you are and want a transfer I would transfer it. I was taking a lot of photos at this cemetery and get a little over zealous on the recordings.I take care of a rather large cemetery now and it takes away from my findagrave efforts on other sites.

Thank you for creating this memorial for my grandmother. Would it be possible for you to transfer ownership of her memorial to me?
Thank you so much. Tammy R Chevrette
