Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma in July 2013 and am now in remission. This experience has taught me to leave good records for future generations. I try to only list family members and people that I have known. Quality is much more important than quantity. My great aunt got me started on this when I was in high school. She kept very accurate records and traveled all over the country doing research.

This site has one big major problem I have found. Retired people or hobby seekers will walk cemeteries or scan obituaries without even knowing the person. You can usually tell these people by the quantity of listings they have.

Unfortunately, you have to be a parent or sibling to request ownership. I have several relatives like this. The best you can do is send updates and hope the owner will add this information.

sorry about the last post. Computer glitch:-) I posted it the day it appeared on Davison-Fulton/Bartonville Chapel web site. I can only go by the info provided. It was also posted on one of their other funeral home sites, Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel | Parkview Cemetery, with no info.

There are two ways I would approach Rosella. First, get her death certificate and hope the person who filled it out knew her parents names. Secondly, hopefully she had brothers or sisters, trace them in records (hopefully, they are older so you can find them in census records). Hope this is helpful to you. Chris

That's why I go to all these local cemeteries and try to list as many people as I can. The cemetery where you aunt is has over 80,000 burials as do others in the area. As you see, I have barely scratched the surface with my entries. However, over the years I have heard from many how they have looked for a loved one for years and only found it because I had taken a section of a cemetery that they were in. Receiving messages like this keep me going although as I grow older, I am slowing down a bit. By the way, send some of the rain this way, we could really use it. Chris

You're very welcome. If you a related, I have no problem transferring the Gattis' to you. Just request through the Edit feature on each memorial. Chris

Your Aunt is correct. When I am mass entering graves the program sometimes just fills in a previous name I have typed that started with the same letter (W). I don't catch all of those. Thank you for pointing my mistake out to me. I have corrected it and added birth and death information for him. Chris
