GOSHEN -- Clyde L. Hershberger, 89, of 407 E. Kercher Road, died at 10: 35 a.m. Friday (Nov. 16, 2001) at Greencroft Healthcare Center.
He was born July 6, 1912, in Kokomo, the son of Leander and Wilma (Smel tzer) Hershberger, graduated from Nappanee High School, and married Max ine Weldy in Nappanee on Aug. 19, 1936.
Mr. Hershberger is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Ca rolyn) Miller of Shipshewana, Mrs. Richard (Mary Ellen) Miller of Westo ver, Md., Mrs. Keith (Sharon) Balyeat of Sturgis, Mich., and Rose Hersc hberger of Shipshewana; a son, Wilbur (Elizabeth) of Goshen; a daughter -in-law, Rosa Hershberger of Elkhart; 25 grandchildren; and two sisters , Gladys Cone of Elkhart and Verda Good of Rantoul, Ill.
A son, Winford; two sisters, Maxine and Evelyn; and a brother, Lowell, a re deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and o ne hour before the service at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Salem Mennonite Chur ch. The Rev. Tom Miller and the Rev. Terrill Yoder will officiate, foll owed by burial at Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Hershberger worked for several years in the RV industry and at Evan gel Press. After his retirement, he volunteered in prison ministries an d at World Missionary Press in New Paris.
He attended Salem Mennonite Church, was a member of Calvary Chapel in S turgis and was ordained a minister at Nappanee North Main Street Mennon ite Church.
Memorials may be given to World Missionary Press or Water for Life.

She was born June 17, 1916, in Milford to Tim and Ella (Brenneman) Weld y. On Aug. 19, 1936, she married Clyde L. Hershberger. He died Nov. 15, 2 001
Surviving are daughters Carolyn (Glenn) Miller of Shipshewana, Mary Ell en (Richard) Miller of Westover, Md., Sharon (Keith) Balyeat of White P igeon, Rose Herschberger (Mike) Groff of Shipshewana, daughter-in-law R osa Hershberger of Elkhart and son Wilbur (Elizabeth) Hershberger of Go shen; 26 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-gran dchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, a t Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, and one hour prior to the 10 a .m. service Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Salem Mennonite Church, New Pa ris. Harold R. Hershberger, 94, of Topeka, died Tuesday evening, February 5, 2 008 at his home after five months of failing health.
He was born on August 20, 1913, in Elkhart County, to John and Cora (Ki ndy) Hershberger. He married Viola Gooch on March 30, 1933 in Sturgis, M ichigan. She died May 16, 1971. On November 30, 1974, he married Florin e Price McNutt who preceded him on July 2, 1989. He then married Mary E by on December 19, 1992. She survives in Bristol.
A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Hershberger was a farmer, worked a t Bendix, and an independent milk hauler into Constantine Creamery and M & R C reamery (now Ross Laboratories) in Sturgis. He was a member of the Milk H aulers Association and Goshen Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Shirley (David) Aymer o f Mission,Texas and Tannice (Dan) Lehman of Topeka; two sons, Harold D. H ershberger of White Pigeon, Michigan, and Anthony W. (Brenda) Hershberg er of Belbrook, Ohio; four step-children, Flora Metzger of Goshen, Paul R omine of Ligonier, Russell Stutzman in Bristol, and Betty Miller of Mid dlebury; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grand children; a sister, Iris Dills of Goshen; and a brother, Roland Hershbe rger of Goshen.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Viola and Florine; four sisters, I va Weaver, Lila Schrock, Beulah and Betty Hershberger; and two brothers , Albert and John Hershberger; two step-daughters, Jeanie Coley and Bar bara Homood.
Friends will be received 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2008, at Y oder-Culp Funeral Home where a 3:00 p.m. funeral service will be held. T om Leach of Middlebury will officiate.
Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen, following cremation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.

NAPPANEE - Raymond Hershberger, 69, of 901 East Walnut St. Nappanee, a retire Mutschler Brothers employe, died at 9 a.m. at Monday at his home. Death was due to complications following an illness of three months.
Born near Nappanee Oct. 17, 1904, he was a son of Mose and Ellen (Roose) Hershberger. His marriage to the former Sylvia Moden occurred Feb. 11, 1926. She survives.
Hershberger retired from Mutschler Brothers in 1971 after 29 years of service. He was a member of the First Church of God and the Nappanee Senior Citizens Club.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by five sons, Kenneth, of Morton, Wash., Dale and Harold Hershberger, both of Nappanee. Walter, Columbia City and Alton Hershberger, Union, Mich.; three brothers Owen and Victor Hershberger, both of Nappanee, Herschell Hershberger, Goshen: two sister, Mrs. Jesse (Wilma) Holmes, Alabama, Mrs. Ralph (Lulu) Schooley, Antwerp, O.; 18 grandchildren. One son preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First church of God with the Rev. Lawrence Foudy and Rev. D. J. Davis officiating. Interment will be in Union Center cemetery.
Friends will be received at Wright-Yoder Funeral Home from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. today and at the church for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

She survives along with three sons, Chuck McFall;l of Deland, Fla., and Steven and Rex Hershberger, both of Nappanee; six daughters, Mrs. Roger (Doris) Webb of Silver Lake, Mrs. Claude (the Rev. Janet) Brown, Mrs. John (Linda) Pippen, Mrs. Phil (Karen) Hahn, Mrs. Richard
(Betsy) Kauffman and Mrs. Kevin (Jill) Stutsman, all of Nappanee; 28 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, Kenneth of Roseburg, Ore., Harold of Wakarusa, Walter of Milford and Alton of Union, Mich.
Mr. Hershberger did body work for D & D Body Shop and worked for Huffman Bakery for many years. He started working for Nappanee Auto in 1981 and remained an employee there until his death. He was a lifetime area resident and a member of the First Church of God.

You are correct, he is not interred at Heritage. I am helping the cemetery office clear up many cremations they had at Heritage but not interred. I will change his to say location unknown.
