|All photos of graves that I have posted were taken by me and may be copied freely and posted on other websites. There is no need to credit me or identify me when they are so used and no need to request permission beforehand. I won't be annoyed if you do anyway, but it really isn't necessary for the grave photos taken by me. Most photos of persons that I have posted were not taken by me. Please check the photo caption to determine the source (most often an obituary).|
The photos were taken with a Sony Cybershot camera, which takes 4896x3672 (18M-pixel) images. The original JPG files are 6-7 MB in size. I then use GIMP, an open source image processing program that can be downloaded for free from gimp.org, to rotate, crop and rescale the images. Usually I set the horizontal resolution to 1200 pixels, sometimes up to 1600 for panoramic scenes. I use a compression "quality" setting of 50 to 70, most often 60 to 65. The resulting picture files are usually 250 to 300 kB, with some up to 400 kB. Limiting the file size to that range allows snappy downloads when opening the image at full resolution.

Roland and Alice had four other children Helen Charlotte Adkinson, Alice Pearl Adkinson, Lottie (born and died 17 Sep 1914), and son Roland Medford Adkinson Jr. After their separation Roland Jr continued to live with his father. Alice married David Coulombe who was born in 1900 and died in 1970 - he is also buried in Cathedral Cemetery.

Just a quick note of thanks for your recent updates in the Wilmington DE Cathedral Cemetery.
You did a fantastic Job!

You sent a suggestion for the parents of Catherine Rodgers, daughter of John Boyle and Mary Donohoe.
I appreciate the info and wonder if you have any other info on any of this family? They are my paternal ancestors and are really eluding me.
Thank you for all your hard work. Are their headstones for Mary Scott and Her brother, James McCauley? They are in Sec. 5D. Row-CP/ES. Lot-33. Grv-4 and 4.
Do you know who else is in the Lot? Thanks for your help.
