Bio and Links
Bio Photo This site serves as a database so that present and future generations can find those they seek. It is used by professional genealogists, as well as amateurs, and is owned by Ancestry.com. If you've used Ancestry and found a link to Find A Grave, it is because of the work of many volunteers who pursue this endeavor with an earnest regard to preserve history for future generations. I was able to trace our family back 13 generations in America (arriving in 1633) with the aid of Ancestry and those who contribute to this site, and it is my desire to "pay it forward" by doing the same for others.

Please keep in mind that this pursuit is completely done by VOLUNTEERS who spend countless hours in this dedicated effort. There is no need to feel offended if you find your relatives listed by a contributor, for that is the purpose of this site (after all, isn't that why you have come here?).

Please feel free to ask for a transfer if you find one of your relatives posted here by me (or any other contributor). Most folks will gladly transfer relatives to family members. Please state your relationship to the person in the listing and use the edit tab on the memorial to request the transfer. If you don't wish to manage the memorial, I will gladly add any biographical information you would like.

My primary focus at present lies in photo-documenting the final resting places of veterans. I once found a poem written on a memorial for a young soldier and it stays with me. I believe it was originally from a speech at the conclusion of the Civil War. In part: "Nor shall your glory be forgot while Fame her record keeps; for Honor marks the hallowed spot where Valor proudly sleeps". I am privileged to preserve these markers for future generations. After all, their valor is our heritage.

History is made every day...ALWAYS REMEMBER!

Hi,

I was very sure that Clara was buried next to her husband, however I was unable to confirm it. You have no idea how hard I searched for that information.

Thanks so much for sending the exact plot location. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

I was going to create a memorial to Danny and found yours. Thank you for creating the memorial. Danny Clifford was half brother to my deceased brother-in-law. I am not asking for a transfer. I have Danny's obituary. I know the rules but some day we will be leaving this earth and it may help someone in the future. They have helped me. If you agree to post it, please contact me and I will e-mail it to you. I look forward to hearing from you.
Side note, Danny's brothers are preparing for their Mother's home going. Thank you, Diane

Please explain to me, why someone can make a memorial 2-3 days before me and it does not show up, until after mine is posted. Something is not right about this. Maybe someone should check to see it did not even show up under simply looking under Florida. With that last name only, it would be unlikely to have many.

He probably misspelled his and corrected it. Either way. He has it now.

RE: memorial placque
thank you so much. I actually was very surprised to see it. The grave had nothing on it. I did make the trip to see his grave and this plaque was just beautiful. Seeing it in person was just amazing. I miss him terribly but I know he would be so very proud. God Bless You and thank you for this picture of his plaque it means the world to me.......
