|John C. Awbrey||Thomas Coley|
Hi. I recently found more information on the parents of Thomas Coley but the man who created their memorials has died and I can not get edits done to the memorials or get them transferred. I created new memorials for the parents with the additional information I have. I am going to send edits for you to please change the parents to reflect the new memorials. Thanks.

Thank you for your kindness to posting a photograph of the Sandy Creek Church.
You and your family are invited to a memorial tombstone installment on Saturday April 1, 1-3 pm at the Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
We have discovered and marked the grave site for our 6th great grandfather Jeremiah YORK I (1683-1765) immigrant from England. He is believed to be buried by his son Semore York where we have found a grave site with a white flint rock for a head stone. According to Semore York's 1782 Will his father lived (near the church) on 120A of Semore's original land grant. Lunch is being served by the Church and tours given.
Hope to see you there.
Hi, Angel. Joseph Bookout is my 6x great grandfather. Thanks for sharing a photo of his headstone!
I have two questions:
One, this is a very unusual headstone. It's hard to tell... is the original headstone under plexiglass or something & embedded in the new headstone?
Two, can I have permission to share your two photos of his headstone on my blog?

Glad to know it helped. I wondered if they stayed in touch. I was happy to locate that info.
Thank you for the note. It made my day.

I photographed two other Gwyn gravestones which were next to Perry and Marie.

Thanks Angel for your assistance with Catherine Cowper Weisiger. She's my 4th great grandmother, and I had been searching for her a long time. Her 1st husband Charles Erambert was born ~1793, and died in Richmond, VA in 1829. I have not located his grave yet.
The Lieut. Charles H. Erambert you mentioned was born May 15 1832 (according to Civil War documents). I'm not sure when he died, sometime after 1910. He is the son of Edward J. and Melvina (Anderson) Erambert of Farmville, VA.
