Vimy
I am leaving Yorkshire on the 6th, staying overnight in London, then taking the Euro Train early morning for Lille. Hoping to be met by a contact there, a Francis Rogers. I am staying at the Le Cedres Bleu hotel in Lievin, which is about 2 to 3 miles from La Chaudiere and Vimy. Returning to the UK on the 12th. Are you with a tour group? I could not find a British tour group setting anything up last year, so I booked my hotel in February 2016, as I knew the Canadians were already busy making hotel bookings for their tours.

Would be nice if we were able to meet up. I received my entry permit for Vimy last week.

Hi,
I am leaving UK for France on 7th April, and will be attending the Vimy Ridge 100th Anniversary Memorial Service on the 9th. On the following day I will be visiting the La Chaudiere Cemetery, my great uncle Pvt. Bernard Hall is buried there. I will do my best to get a good photo of your ancestors Headstone for you.

Please add this info to the bio section of your memorial. I sent a SAC other but it doesn't seem to have arrived.

RE: Hugh Brown Photo
Glad it helps. I am always aware how many names from Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other countries are remembered on the Runnymede Memorial.
With best wishes, Stephen
