Please don't hesitate to suggest corrections, changes or additions! I will gladly transfer any memorials as well ..I would love to have ALL of them claimed by their families!

I am proud to have any of my photos used in family trees! This is WHY I take them!!

I believe that the marker is the final word. As an example: if Mr. Smith wanted William Smith on his marker he would have put it there. If he put Billy Smith, I prefer to not change the memorial. I would be happy to add William James Smith in the bio section if such a request is made. If I did change it to William, someone else might see the marker and enter a duplicate using Billy again.

It is much more interesting to have more than first-last-born-died on memorials. So, many, many thanks goes to 'klh' who researches and adds so much info to memorials. Kudos Karlene!

As so many others have posted, using the edit tab to request transfers and make edits is soooo much easier!

LAKEVIEW CEMETERY, ESCANABA: I am attempting to add many names from an online data base that obviously has been corrupted (some parents listed are down one line and do not line up; that many people can NOT all die on their birthday, things like that!). I believe some dates of death are actually dates of burial.
Many of these are very early burials (1890-1950), many are children, and many have no marker. If I did not use this database, those people would be lost to FAG. So, I am doing my best with the awful spelling, misaligned parents and duplicates (listed as Peterson AND Petersen; Dixson/Dickson). Please do not hesitate to add and correct.
