I became interested in genealogy a number of years ago but could not really pursue it until I retired. I think cemeteries are the most peaceful places on this planet and I wish that every cemetery could be preserved. That is why I take cemetery photos because I know that in some cases that may be the last vestage of the stone before it disintegrates.|
I am researching family lines of Bredehoeft, Bredehoft, Lange, Haesemeier, Hasemeyer, Haesemeyer, Wienberg, Hauschild, Steffens, Schelp, Hemme, Dierker, Brandt, Fricke, Oerding, Evert, Albers, Heermann, Heerman, Meyer, Oetting, Dierking, Alpers, Krause, Gieseke, Wehrs, Schroer, Dillon -- cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and all lines up and down. My former name was Jane Bredehoeft Schroer.

|Sharon Wallen||Walter Wilhelm Kueck b. 1899|
You won't believe this, but I just now found your e-mail to me explaining that this Walter is not the child of Martha Roepe Kueck because of a baptism record. Since the 1900 census indicates that Walter's mother, Martha, was born June of 1867 and that matches Martha #35137087 birth date on Find A Grave. I think I am going to leave him linked to her in my genealogy. His sister, Minnie, is linked to my Martha in the 1900 census and in Find A Grave. To me that's enough proof to have her be his mother. Unless Friedrich was married to two different Martha's?
Oh well, just wanted to explain why my genealogy is going to be different.

Jane, this is a repeat request. I would greatly enjoy maintaining pages for the following persons. I am Contributor #46965887. If transferring them is not agreeable to you, will you connect them to their parents, as follows:
The parents of Memorial #18794837 (Friedericke Kollmeier) and Memorial #18726067 (Caroline Kronsbein) are Caspar Heinrich Johanningmeier, Memorial #172119587 and Anna Catherine Ilsabein (Install) Johanningmeier, Memorial #172119671.
In addition, the parents of Memorial #21788245 (Clara Caroline Louise Kreinekamp) are Memorial #173639185 (Henry William Kreienkamp) (different surname spelling) and Memorial #173636953 (Kathryn Johanningmeier Kreienkamp). Information from the baptismal parish register in Westfalen verifies she is the daughter of the foregoing couple.

|Patti Nance||RE: Leo Bredehoeft|
I have researched the Steffens family on ancestry so I have the names of my grandfather's brothers and sisters. Do you have any Steffens photos? I had a photo of Leo and Marie's wedding and had no idea who is was until I found the same photo on ancestry. I love those moments!
Jane, my name is Patti Nance, my mother was born to Leonard and Cecilia Steffens in Lexington Missouri. Leonard had a sister named Marie who married Leo Bredehoeft. I would sure like to connect with this side of my family and share what little info and photos I have.

|Sheila Dahl||Rehwaldt or Rehwoldt|
I am Sheila Dahl, looking for information on Julia Rehwoldt who married Ernest Porter. She was 19 when she gave birth to my grandmother Lucille Rehwoldt Porter in New York City. My grandmother was given up for adoption at 17 days old. On the birth certificate it states Julia Rehwoldt was born in Chicago.
I saw you had a message about this name, if you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
