|Kenneth||RE: Lewis K. Grow|
I located the article that was printed in a Carrollton, Georgia newspaper that was printed on 14 May 1914 as written by G. W. Merrill. He was apparently there at the battle or interviewed someone that was there to witness the battle. I wanted to add them to the findagrave listings because I found them very interesting. Not many accounts of an actual Confederate Soldier's final charge are written down. As far as the cemetery is concerned, I can change that very easily. Someone else told me that he was in the cemetery listed. If you could visit the one you mentioned and get a headstone picture, it could be added proof. If you would like me to transfer his memorial to you, being that you are related to him, I can do that as well. There were about 14 accounts published in that newspaper for the local people's families to get an idea of how they perished or lived.

Thanks for the heads up...I fixed Wm Minsker's typo...I also researched a little and found out that his wife moved to York, Nebraska, married George Erwin or Irwin and is also buried here and information about his daughter. I added it to his wife's memo...for other researchers to see.

I have added his hole name (Rev Jacob Clark Grow). I am also going to transfer your great-great-grandfather's memorial to you.
I don't have the original picture, but next time I go to Fairview I will try to find him again and get another picture. I wish I could remember where he is but that cemetery is huge. If I can find him would you like pictures of any relatives that might be near him?
