|K M Maher||Alonzo N Haight photograph|
I just noted this photo on Alonzo's site & was wondering at the source. My searches have determined that there's possibly a picture in the Notre Dame library, but that's quite a trip from Houston.
Ancestry.com led me to Alonzo; being my grandfather's stepmother's first husband, he is a very distant relation indeed. But that beautiful cemetery is very close to my home & I'm glad I finally visited.
Thank you for your research.
Thank you for adding his parent information to his memorial. I appreciate it.

I have noticed that you have management of a number of graves from St James Lutheran Church Cemetery. I thank you for your hard work here on FindAGrave. I was wondering if you perchance know who holds the records to the defunct church and cemetery property? I have a significant number of relatives buried there and am trying to hunt down more genealogy information. Thank you again.
Thanks. Trying to find someone again after excepting an edit is a problem at times. I tried a quick search on a Frank with a brother Eli. Didn't find them yet. If they were in St. Louis, Mo. I have found 1870 & 80 census have flaws. There are three different 1880 censuses with Lydia Foster living with different family members. Good luck with your search.
James and Lydia Foster didn't have a son Eli. Our Frank married Alma Neusel in 1880. Child buried 1883. By 1900 Alma Neusel remarried. Whether our Frank died or divorced, we don't have proof yet.

Thanks for the transfer. I will send it back when I am through.
|David Foster||More on Mary Brown|
Thank you for editing the Mary Brown memorial page. I have decided to go ahead and create a new page for her father, Fritz Wieske, even though I know almost nothing about him other than that he is named as 'father if the deceased' on both death certificates, Mary Brown's and Matilda Wieske's. My grandmother's notes also name him as the father of several other children, one of which is Henrietta Kreutter (Find A Grave # 75075137). I have not found the graves of the other children yet, but by creating a memorial for their father, at least Henrietta, Mary and Matilda would be linked. Hopefully, somebody will come along and fill in some information about him later.
It would be kind of hard for Leslie born 1898 to marry in 1902.

I am sorry. I wasn't thinking about that. Thank you so much! Have a great day!

Thank you, she is my paternal great-grandmother, and I am sure of the maiden name, and was aware of how the DC was worded. Bob Hague has been working with me and now the correct parents are attached to the correct children and siblings.
