I've been researching my family history since I was 11 years old. I stumbled onto this site about 2003 & have been using it ever since. Through the 'Photo Request' feature I've been able to see headstones of so many family members that are buried in places I cannot visit & am eternally grateful to those people who offered to help me. I've spent a lot of time working hand-in-hand with my distant cousin, Joanne Wilson, who I met through our mutual interest in the Westdijk branch. I am interested in the following surnames: Adams, Allerton, Barbara, Carlini, Carlino, Clive, Esters, Faulkner, Iannacchione (derivatives include Tannachion and Tannacchione), Kleijn, Labate, Lombardi, Martinelli, Meeson, Meijer (Meyer), Mulder, Palumbo, Paul, Pellegrini, Pricken, Riley, Roberts, Rogers, Rosselli, Rotola, Scozzari, Spoto, Tanis, Tomkinson, Verduin, Ver Hoeve & Westdijk (Derivatives include Westdyke, Westdyk, Wasdyke and Wasdyk).For more information about my research, please visit my website, michaelscozzari.com.|

I'm sorry to inform you that you created a memorial that already existed (# 13799258). Unfortunately, this one (# 16165684) needs to be deleted.
|Donna E O Williamson||RE: Samuel McCollom|
First off, I am not related to Samuel McCollom; I did the research for a friend of mine. It is an interesting family and it was fun to research.
As for Samuel's being married twice, I base that conclusion on the following evidence: (It could be confusing as both wives had the same first name, Margaret.)
1) Samuel's first wife was Margaret Stewart, their marriage record being available on FamilySearch.org. She died in 1898, FindAGrave Memorial# 84510937.
2) Samuel's second wife was Margaret Doremus as shown in the 1910 US Census in Paterson, Passaic County, NJ. Samuel had an "M2" in the marital status column which designates a second marriage. His wife, Margaret, had "M1" by her name, and luckily for future researchers, her mother, Mary Doremus, was living with them, as was their 8-year-old son, Vivian.
I hope this helps.
|Lawrence Ricker||Thank you|
Thank you for posting a picture of the grave of Sarah Ross. You helped me to confirm that the dates did not match and we may not be related.
Just found his obit in the Daily Republican 22 March 1933. Last name listed as "Tragoni". Died of pneumonia. Wife Raffaella. Children James, Frank, Leo, Mary and Concietta. Interment St Mary's! I am going to transfer his profile to you. (I did not create his wife's profile, which would also need to be deleted.) Wasn't sure if you wanted any information or photos from profile. Then you can delete when it suits you. Thanks, Lynn

Yes I took this photo. However, these cemeteries lie side by side, and I know there have been problems with profiles being listed in the wrong cemetery. A second person also added a photo to the profile in Monongahela Cemetery. If I got it wrong, so did he. Not sure what else I can do to confirm. I wonder if the cemetery would have it listed under Dragoni. Tried, without success, to find an obit on Newspapers.com. If I think of anything else, I will let you know. Lynn

Re Pete Tragone #123999004
Found his PA death certificate which lists Monongahela Cemetery for burial. I added the death certificate info to the profile in Monongahela Cemetery. Note: Last name listed on death certificate was "Dragoni" which was then corrected to "Tragoni" on original. Index for certificate is uncorrected, listed as Dragoni. Stone lists Tragone. Lynn

I did not get a close up of the photos on the tombstone but I am only 2 miles from the cemetery. I will get them the next time I go to Monongahela, it might take a while, I will add them to the memorials when I get them and you can lift them from there. I actually finished photgraphing the entire cemetery last year but is slow going trying to get all the photos on line there are more than 30,000 people buried there.

there is a Petro Martinelli 1889-1908. when I photographed the cemetery he is the only Martinelli I ended up with.
