Most of my ancestors originate from Britain and Ireland but I am researching a twig on the family tree that originates from Virgina & Missouri way way back when. I think Find A Grave is a great place to honour my ancestors and to help others follow the trails I have been on. I am located in Canada and its hard for me to do on-site research in other places. So, many thanks to all who post info and photos. Hopefully someone will find the info I post useful too. If you do, send me a message or place some flowers in my relatives' memorials. Cheers, Tracy Anne.|

|Barbara Muir||RE: Re your Photos on Find A Grave|
Many thanks for the wonderful work you and other Find A Grave contributors do by taking photos of Grave Markers & Cemetery Photos. I wonder if your photos are copyright or can I share them on my family tree on Ancestry.com. I will give you the photo credit eg Photo Credit: Thanks to "Tracy Anne”, Find A Grave Website, Photo used with permission. Many thanks, Barb Muir Gillespie-from Australia
Hello Tracy. Just dropping a line to say thank you for the work and time you put into this site. After two years of hunting down a long lost relative I just found what I was looking for. Well, to be honest I stumbled onto it.Had it not been for the work you put into taking photo"s of tombstones, I may not have been so fortunate to complete my work on one relative. Now I can focus more time on other lost souls. Keep up the great work and again thank you.

Hello Tracy Anne. It was my mothers 89th birthday this week and I decided to update some of my research. So shocked and happy to see that you posted the headstone of my GREAT GRANDFATHER. My mother was overjoyed as we live so very far away from northern SK in SW Florida.
I would like to ask if you would be willing to transfer this entry to me on Find A Grave? I would be so appreciative. Please let me know and I will send you my number in a private message.
Thank you very much for posting this headstone.

hi tracy thought you might be interested, I just returned from a Kenneth Howat funeral in P.A, decided to tidy up my Howat file & came across your page which shows records of a Mary Richardson Howat.
Kenneth from todays funeral would Probably be the son of John Howat 1875-1949 from Mary R Howat children, can the history you show for Mary be supported by any other records or only
" calculated relationships " .
The Obit for Kenneth can be found at panow obits.
You may also be interested in an obit for Mary Sipes, Kenneths sister, I have a copy of that if your interested.

I see you live in Canada although you don't say exactly where. I'm hoping, since you entered info for the cemetery in Forget that you may be in that area. You supplied tombstone info and pic for Sarah Daugherty Larkin and I'm wondering if you might be able to go in search of her husband Thomas Larkin, died 1926. He should be in the same cemetery.
Thank you for any assistance.

I realize I said "wife", but she is my fiancé at the moment. She lives in Lethbridge, Alberta, I live in Székesfehérvár, Hungary at the moment. Our wedding is on June 30 :)

Oh wow! If you are a great granddaughter of Albert Herman Finnen, born in 1871, then you are related to my wife - she is a great granddaughter of Charles Egbert Finnen, born in 1867. Herman and Egbert were brothers.
Thank you, Tracy Anne, for your work on the Finnens! May I ask if you are related to them?

Thanks for posting these headstones. When you live in another province it is a real help to be able to get information to complete a family.
Charles Bernhart Duncan was born in Owen Sound Ontario in 1879. He married Ethel Maud Watts , daughter of Edward Coyne Watts ( 1855-1917) and Martha Teeter ( 1862-1916) of Owen Sound.
Edward was my great uncle and the family came to Canada before 1856 and lived near Hillsburg ON near Erin On. His father John died in 1856 and is buried there. Ethel came to Sask. With her husband and 2 sisters, Mabel Teresa and Dorcas . Dorcas married Phillip J. Smith.
