Bio and Links
Bio Photo My health now prevents me from visiting the cemeteries to take photographs.

As you can see I manage quite a few memorial pages here on findagrave. I am not related to the majority of them, so feel free to request a transfer if you have a relationship to any that I am managing.

I also give permission for anyone to use the photographs I am posting on If you want uncropped then email me with surname & date of photo.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the Oak Grove Civil War Cemetery Restoration (Facebook group) for their hard work on uncovering and repairing the grave markers at Oak Grove.

RE: Timothy Curran
Do you happen to have a copy of that or can point me in the direction on how to view/find it ? I'm wondering if this record is to the correct headstone. The headstone states 1840-1931 but the summary and my records indicate he was born is 1843.

Timothy Curran
Hi Jo-Ann,

My name is Kaitlyn and I am researching the Curran family. I found out I am related to Timothy Curran- Find A Grave Memorial# 94875056. I am wondering how you found that his father and mother are Batholomew and Mary Curran. Any help would be much appreciated.

RE: Leyland, Isabella (Farrington)
Hi, Thanks for the offer. The person who is adopting William may want to take over his memorial at some point. But I will keep it your offer in mind. Also, a relative may come along and want ownership as well.

Take care and keep up your work honoring soldiers.

Thanks. Yes he died in WWI and he rests in a cemetery in Belgium.

Here is that site number 12070673

Thanks for letting me know as someone is in the process of "adopting" his grave ...a local there.

Best regards.

Leyland, Isabella (Farrington)
Hello Ms. Croft, Are you related to Jeremiah and Isabella Farrington by chance? I'm looking for family of William - their son.

Thank you.

I apologize! You are correct; it was meant for a different Harriet. I am sorry to confuse you. Best Regards, Ann

I did request that the owner of the find a grave record for Harriet add a note stating that although the marker shows the death year as 1891, the death certificate shows it was 1897.

You are welcome. I hope it is clear enough for you to see what you hoped to see!

Martha J Burklew
Martha Jane McBride Burklew is my GG Grandmother. At her Find A Grave site, the shown headstone is for Wm Booth and Mary Booth. I was told that you are the one to notify to have the correct stone shown.. Her husband, William H Burklew , shows the correct headstone for both of them..
Thanking you in advance ! Becky Brillhart
