Bio Photo Currently on the Board of Directors and Registrar of Monocacy Cemetery in Beallsville, MD. I spent the past 10 years archiving this cemetery -- all 5,628 graves AND researched every person's genealogy so their FindaGrave memorial would be a complete resource for future generations seeking their ancestors.

I think I found the answer to your question. Take another look at Mary's memorial...and his.

RE: Jewells at Faith Chapel in Lucketts
Honestly I did not. Sorry I can't be of more help. May be able to go back out and check if you would like.

RE: Mary Ella Miles
Seeing that one go so long without anyone getting to it was surprising. Then again, Sec 17 is a bear - a misnamed children section is right on the edge of her grave (Ivy Range). The grounds staff will tell you 17 is a challenge for many reasons. But I got her done! Later, Fred

Greetings, Glen!

Thanks for contacting me. Findagrave Admin A.J. Marik has stated that names should be entered in the "Name" section as they appear on the gravestone, and that alternative spellings et al should be noted in the "Bio" section. A.J. had clarified the website's position in response to the problem of multiple entries being created for the same individual, and it apparently reflects Findagrave's focus on actual burial sites.
When I photographed George's eroded gravestone in 2005, only the first 2 letters of his surname remained. Do you have an earlier gravestone photo that shows 4 letters of his surname, or a transcription that was made when the full surname was legible? Your source for his surname, and any other info on George, would be a great help in updating his page.

Best regards,

RE: Creger Family Memorials
Glen, I do not have a picture of Dot, and neither of Floyd, he had been dead for a few years when I got to know Ella Mae Creger Kessell and her husband Gary Kessell in 1975. Carrie Dot was a lovely women as were all of Floyd and Margie's girls. Carrie K

For some reason I have many KIDWELL (MD)in my data base.
I think it is because one of them married into WITHERS. Glad to share info.

Creger Family Memorials
Glen, Thank you so much for your excellent work and research on Floyd B Greger and his wife Marjorie Harner Creger and their related children and siblings. I was adopted into the family as a stray by Marjorie Harner Creger and her daughter Ella Mae and her husband Gary Kessell. Their home was a home away from home and Marjorie, known as Mama Creger with her soft southern voice and ways was very dear to me. Carrie K.
