Bio and Links
I have been researching family history and genealogy for nearly 40 years. In that time I have acquired a great deal of material on all branches of my paternal and maternal lines. I enjoy the search for new details on relatives both living and deceased.
Find A Grave is a great way to "visit" the final resting place for many of the people I have researched.

Sidney McOuat/McQuat
Thank you for your kind words. I will make a note in his memorial, but I cannot except the surname spelling change. I did a quick search on FamilySearch for Sidney McOuat in California. The California Death Index (extracted from death certificates), World War II draft registration (his own handwriting on the original image), and 1940 Census all clearly show the surname spelled as McOuat. Likewise the marker shows McOuat -- and Find A Grave rules state that the surname on the marker is to be used. It appears Sidney may have changed his surname spelling.

Walter Davis Hill
I am happy to transfer Walter Davis Hill and Rosalia Flowers Hill to you. They are in my Hill family tree. But would love for you to manage them. Knowing that they will be with close family makes my heart smile.

Caroline (Flowers) Wendelschafer - Beer
Dean, I submitted an edit to remove the "Beer" from Carolines last name. As I understand Find A Grave rules, the only last name to be included is the one he/she used when buried. The extension throws off searches for other family members.
Also, as you know, she and her husband George have duplicate memorials in Cleveland Lutheran. I will be submitting edits for family relationships to the Savidge Lake memorials before asking the other member to remove the duplicates from Cleveland Lutheran. Just wanted to put the edits into context.

Thanx
Scott R

Cecelia and Wilbur Pettis
I saw the photo request you have for Cecelia and Wilbur. The lot location says it is in Block 33 and another photo volunteer went out there to photograph them. The photographer said they could not find it. I did some looking and found this, which says Block 1 (not 33). The next time I am out that way I will stop into the historical useum and see what I can find out from their cemetery files and also go out there and check block 1 for you. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cowcgs/WCMI/Petrikin_Je.pdf

Greetings, was wondering if somehow you could be related to my family or did you know my sister. Doing family history just wondered if you are somehow related.
