Many listings at F.A.G. were a great help in my search for Ancestor information. I am honored to be a part of the process and hope it will help others as much as it has helped me.|
My goal is to see as much information added to each listing, in remberence of those who have gone before us, as possible. firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTICE ! I have been human every day of my life. If you catch an error, typo - duplication - or otherwise, I will certainly appreciate a notification. The goal is accuracy.
NOTICE, IF ANY ONE HAS A BETTER PHOTO OF A STONE THAN THE ONES I HAVE POSTED, ATTACH IT AND NOTIFY ME. IT IS ABOUT THE BEST RESULTS FOR THE MEMORIAL.
I give permission for reuse of all photos I have submitted, for non commercial purposes, to any person for ancestry or grave application.

Hi- Thanks for all the photos you add to my memorials but one needs to be moved. You posted 2 photos to Jimmy's memorial but they need to go on memorial #135722679. I believe that Sharon posted it as Infant Mason, but his name was James, like his Daddy's name. I will send her an edit and then we will have his memorial complete. I don't think little Jimmy's grave has a memorial as Tom lost his wife when Jimmy was born, so it was probably forgotten.
Thanks again for all you do!

|Patty Donohoe||Parrott's buried in Hamblen County|
Greetings! I notice you maintain the memorials for the Parrott family. I am looking for information on this family, particularly Sarah Lutitia Parrott buried in Watkins Chapel and her husband, John Henry Smith. To my knowledge he isn't buried with her. Anything you can add would be appreciated. Thank you!
|Holly Joy||Nola Ninetta Jones|
I happened to read the note on this page about Aunt Nola watching you as a baby. My great grandmother is her sister Della Omega Jones Stone.
My mother, Nellie Maddux Knight also has very fond memories of Nola.

I use the website:
Tom Leatherwood, Shelby County TN register of deeds
He has much information on there, and a lot does pertain to Shelby County TN; but there are State wide deaths, divorces and more. As far as the death records go, I find the information from 1949-2005 is most likely to be correct; but the deaths from 2006-2014 are likely to be incomplete, but I suspect what is there is good data.
I use this very frequently. You can also use it to order death certificates, as they have a link built in and/or the certificate #.
Please do what makes you happy with this memorial.
