|Lynda White||Robert Ferguson|
Mr Rogers, thank you so much for the cemetery picture of the stone for my Uncle Robert Ferguson.
Find A Grave 67779594. At the time of Uncle Roberts death, his wife Nell was still living. Do you remember if the matching stone for this couple had her dates
|David Hamm||Memorial #106345024 Ruthenia Oliver|
This little girl was my wife’s aunt. Your memorial shows her buried at Willis Cemetery, Gore Springs, Grenada County, MS. The dates of birth and death are off by a few days, which is understandable trying to read a century-old marker. The place of birth and death are also incorrect.
There is another Find-a-Grave Memorial (# 87762885 created about a year before your memorial) for Ruthenia Oliver which shows her buried at Ebenezer Cemetery, Grady, Webster County, MS. Her birth and death dates are correct in this memorial. This memorial has a photo of the exact same grave marker that is in your memorial; however, it shows many upright grave markers in the background. Photos of the Willis Cemetery shows maybe one upright marker and the cemetery has very few graves.
Columbus Walter Oliver and Anna Burchfield were both born in Ethel, Attala County and were married there. Their children were born in either Ethel, French Camp, McCool, Ackerman, or Kosciusko. No census since 1880, or other family records that we could find, ever placed them in Grenada County.
This is the correct information for Ruthenia Oliver based on family records:
• Daughter of Columbus Walter & Anna (Burchfield) OLIVER
• Born February 9, 1897, Ethel, Attala County, MS
• Died October 21, 1898, (we did not find a record of where she died, but assume it was in Webster County, MS since that is where she is buried)
• Buried in Ebenezer Cemetery near Grady, Webster County, MS (sometimes also shown as New Ebenezer Cemetery)
We will leave it to your good judgment as to what to do in this situation.
Best Regards, David Hamm

I seen you took a picture of the Damascus Cemetery. I'm looking for George Sanders Ashley Jr in that cemetery. It's located in Hazelhurst Copiah County Mississippi. George Sanders Ashley Jr, Birth March 12th 1821 death November 14th 1882 in Damascus Cemetery.
Do you think you could take a picture of the gave?
|Katie Nelson||Graham Cemetery Photo Request|
My sister and I went to the Graham Cemetery last week. We took photos of every tombstone there. I did not find markers for your photo requests for John Albert Graham, Elizabeth Russell Graham, and Altmire Graham. I don't think there is one there for Altmire but I would like for you to look at a couple of the pictures that I posted to see if they may be for two of your photo request. I posted a photo for John A. Graham, memorial# 110885250, I think this may go with the request you had for John Albert. I believe that memorial has been duplicated but the death year is different on them. Also the photo I posted for William Watts Graham, memorial# 32410396. His marker has his name but it also says His Wife Elizabeth Russell. Do you think this is her marker also?

|Rudy Caldwell||Rufus Lee Brown|
More info on Rufus Lee Brown. There were two Rufus L. Brown's from Pontotoc County MS both were born in 1892 in Pontotoc County and one died in 1974 in Hinds County MS and the other in 1975 in Pontotoc County,MS. The Rufus L. Brown 1892-1975 son of William Lewis Brown is buried at the Pontotoc Memorial Cemetery. The Rufus L. Brown 1892-1974 son of John William Brown is buried at the Lakewood Memorial Park in Hinds County, MS. On your find a grave record for Rufus Lee Brown 1892-1974, you have the wrong parents attached to his record.
|Rudy Caldwell||Rufus Lee Brown|
On your Find A Grave record for Rufus Lee Brown buried at The Lakewood Cemetery in Jackson MS you have his parents as William Lewis and Alice Wilder Brown. I believe his father is John William Brown who is also buried at Lakewood and his mother is Minnie Mary Thomason Brown who died in 1894. She is buried at the Pontotoc City Cemetery in Pontotoc MS. Minnie died in Pontotoc before John William Brown moved to Jackson. John William's second wife, Ada Cornelia Knox Brown, is buried at Lakewood. I could be wrong but I think my information is accurate. I would appreciate you looking at your records and help me be sure I have the correct information.
Thanks you for your work on Find A Grave. Find A Grave is a very valuable tool in my genealogy research.
