Death of James Egger is likely to be 1840 since daughter Mary Jean was born on 1 Jan 1841 and wife Mary is listed as head of household in the 1840 census. That at least allows a ballpark

I think there is an error in the narrative for Alanson Josephus Egger that Mary Emily Morris was his mother. She was born on 1834 and not likely to be his mother. Mary Emily Morris (findagrave 29067656). Mary Polly Morris Egger (findagrave 34263139) is shown to be his mother. That is more likely.
