RE: Belinda Jane Creamer #75018224
Hi, Karen--
My photo of their headstone was with the pictures from Shade cemetery. That's why I put Belinda in that cemetery; someone else made Wilbur's memorial so I'm not sure what made them put him in the Pratts Fork Cemetery. But if I get back over to Ohio, I will drive out that way and look for sure!

Yes you sent me a message on 12/8/2016 but never said whether you wanted them transferred. I learned after someone else got mad not to transfer until okay. I'm transferring them to you now. Thanks.

RE: Joab Howell - 119236077
HI Karen,

I did some checking and I do think that Nancy passed between 1850-1860 No census found for her after 1850 and no other marriage. The family settled in the Springfield twp, Franklin County by 1830 and it looks like Joab's mother and most other family is buried at Big Cedar. I walked the whole cemetery and took pictures of every grave as I have family also buried there.
Her marker could be destroyed on not able to read but I take pictures of even the non legible because sometimes I can make things out.

Sorry but possibly you will find the answer, never give up you never know what records may be uncovered.

Have a Great Day

Dave

Charles Hayward grave photo
I added a photo for Charles Hayward from Brick Cemetery in Meigs County Ohio. There does seem to be a discrepancy on the death date though. The tombstone says Dec. 2, 1861 instead of Dec. 20.

RE: Sarah (Cowger) Grace
Forgot to mention, will email you the newspaper article from 1881. It was a census for people buried at the cemetery.

RE: Sarah (Cowger) Grace
I still think it could be your Sarah buried at Wyuka. On her daughter's memorial, daughter is born in Lincoln, Nebraska. (Dates don't match up but that's not uncommon)

There is also a Carrie E. Grace who dies in September of 1879 and I think she is the one married to a Henry Grace, and she is the one buried in Section One.

Either way, there definitely is a Sarah Grace and a Carrie Grace buried in 1879 at the cemetery. Both are listed in the newspaper in 1881 as mentioned in their memorials. I went to the Nebraska Archives and looked it up.

RE: Sarah Mary Cowger Grace
Hi Karen, please see the note I originally posted in the memorial. I ran across this article (24 Apr 1881 Daily State Journal) while at the Historical Society.

RE: Sarah (Cowger) Grace
I have my doubts now about her being in Section 1. Looked at the 1880 census and found a Henry Grace living in Lancaster County, Nebraska. He had 2 children and shows Henry a widow. The youngest was born less than a year, so believe his wife is in Section one.

Your Sarah Grace is listed in gr-117 in the Wyuka index records. The burial permits only go back to 1882 and don't know what happened to earlier permits. Think you would like to have the index record for her so will email it to you.
