I live in Utah, and I am a Vietnam Vet. I worked civil service, retiring in 2008. I work part time for an auto parts store.|
I love to do Genealogy research, which has brought me to Find A Grave. I like to help out in my spare time, and give something back.
For all requests for transfers, corrections, and additions please use the edit tab on the memorial.
Please feel free to use any of my photos for your genealogy.
Thank you, Richard
Duplicate memorials are sometimes caused by adding more than one name in the last name field.
Note: I do not recognize a memorial as being correct with more than one name in the last name field, and neither does Find A Grave.
Note: Find A Grave Policy under "Submitting Information" the fifth item down is: "What are your naming conventions". The topic of the last name states:
Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone, if the interred had more than one marriage or other possible spellings please place this information in the bio and use the family links. Do not include honorary or other suffixes in the Last Name field.
Note: If I have created a duplicate memorial because someone else has made an incorrect memorial I will delete mine if the other memorial has been corrected.
The other memorial has to be found through a common search of that person's last name, or as the last name would appear on the headstone.
I believe that there should be at least one memorial that is correct for the person, even if that means that they have more than one memorial.

Hi, another try at the example
Here's something you may want to add to your "Favorite Site" links: target="_blank"
If this code is added at the end of a link, it will open the link in a new page, allowing the user to maintain the original page as reference.
This is my Aunt, was wondering if you would transfer ownership? I would like to link her parents to her. Mother 29102039 and Father 29101990.

Take the picture of his death certificate of the memorial that I have and put it on # 28590094 and then I will delete my memorial. Thanks for your help.
Thank you for the transfer.

|Layne Higgs||Jones, George and his wife Wiliams, Hannah|
Hi my name is Higgs, Layne and I am related to this couple through my grandmother - Jones, Elsie Hannah who married - Higgs, Thomas W. Thomas and Elsie are the parents of my father Higgs, Edward W. and I am the oldest of their seven children. I would be very much interested in having these two Find a Grave Memorials transfered over to me to Maintain - if that's possible and would be greatly appreciated - Jones, George b 1873 and April 05 1922 and Hannah B 1875 and died May 18 1943 - Thanks for your consideration is this matter.
THANK YOU for catching this. I thought I had added it.
