Once a Marine
Fisher memorial
Hi - wanted to let you know that the cement incasing the headstone is crumbling and breaking away, which is letting the grass grow up to and in some areas cover the headstone. I cleared some away but don't know how long it will last.

Jacob Rischel and Leonard Rishel
I was at the Zion's Red Church Cemetery today and because of the age of the tombstone, it cannot be read thus I was unable to get a picture for you. I am however a member of the Schuylkill County Historical Society and have a copy of the page from their register with the tombstone inscription on it. Please let me know if you would like me to post on these on their memorials or I can email it to you if you would like You an reach me at sewilhelm@comcast.net.

The tombstones read as follows:
JACOB RISCHEL
May 12, 1787
Mar 20, 1828

LEONARD RISHEL, husband of Christine Hoober
Jan. 10, 1785
Mar. 30, 1839

Cheers Jim!

I am a descendant of a Peter Sipe (1817-1901) and cannot get to the next level in my search. He was of Cumberland Co., PA where some of your Sipes have come from. Is there a link that you might know of?

Gary
