I currently live in southern California, but the majority of my ancestors were from upstate New York and other northeastern states. They include the surnames Judson, Struensee, Decker, Buchanan, Snyder, Mahl, Martin and, of course, Green. Glad I found this site years ago and always willing to help out ! Will transfer over any non-related memorials to reasonably close family members. (PLEASE include your relationship when you request a transfer).|

Willard Edwin Martin was a native Son of Vermont, born there 12/08/1836. He was also credited to Vermont for service in the 10th Minnesota Infantry during the Civil War.
May I use the grave photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration

Thanks for pointing that out to me, I'm embarrassed I didn't catch that. :-)

I am in the process of linking the 2 wives of Orville to his memorial. Can you add a short bio or Note that "He married Thelma Davis on 3 Jul 1937 and she died 20 Aug 1966. He then married Merline M Harlow on 30 Dec 1970.
Info for you - not for the bio: So far I only found that his first marriage brought in 2 step children and I have not found any others. His second marriage they were past child bearing years. Orville was my husbands Uncle and he remembers Thelma. They decided to visit all of their relatives during the last few months of her life. They came to visit us and see our new born son. She died about a month later. We never met his second wife as we had moved away by then. By adding the bio or note it will help others searching their ancestry.
Thank you for what you do for Find A Grave.

thank you so much, I have since found that Leavitt Haydock was indeed married to Zelma and that they had divorced. Amazing what old records can tell us. I had never heard that he was divorced.

Do you have a picture of this head stone? My husbands family are Dyers/Aggen. I'm not sure if it may be a new relative (almost same dates as memorial # 11266750 Marjorie June Aggen).
But-We are looking for his birth mother-Patricia (Drake or Dyer)She was born a Voorhees as well as Marjorie.

I was requesting tombstone request and they could not find it. If you know where it is could you take picture or put buried unknown...other wise on the the spouse you have linked to Billy Gorden, however on Billy memorial there is a tombstone with a wife of Elizabeth Guthrie, was he married twice? Thanks

Thank you for your message regarding La Verne Webb. I have deleted the memorial that I had created and moved the photograph of the marker to your site.
