|James Wagner||Townsend Lounsbury|
I have photographed all the headstones in the Merritt Settlement Cemetery. There is no longer a stone for Townsend Lounsbury as of 2015, and according to the transcriptions of the Ontario Genealogical Society, there was no stone visible in 1964, either. The OGS Transcription does make mention of a stone that was there in 1964 for Elizabeth. but is no longer visible ("LOUNSBURY Elizabeth wife of Townsend died Dec 29 187(1?7) aged 81 yrs 4 mo 14 dys.").
I did, however, find and photograph a stone for their son, also named Townsend ("In memory of Townsend P. son of Townsend & Elizabeth Lounsbury Died 5 May 1839 Aged 18 Years."). I would be happy to share this photograph.
|Donald Frantz / Glenda Hill||Hello DISTANT Cousin|
I sent you an email about the connection and can offer Lounsbery & Lounsberry help here in Cincinnati. Hope to hear from you soon.
The following is the message that you sent to me:
"If you can please add a link to Robert George Luce - Find A Grave id 82344753 as a child of Levirn Luce".
From what I can tell he is already linked. If I can be of further assistance please let me know.

There are no cemeteries named Mt. Olivet in Cumberland County.
There are no cemeteries within the borders of the borough called New Cumberland.
At one time there was but it was moved most likely about 1900 or even before.
It may have been moved to the closest cemetery to New Cumberland, across the Yellow Breeches to Mt. Olivet in Fairview Township, York County, Pennsylvania.
New Cumberland borough is bounded on the south by the Yellow Breeches. South of the Yellow Breeches is the community called New Market and Fairview Township.
Yellow Breeches is also the line between York County and Cumberland County.
Mt. Olivet is in York County.
Links look fine, thanks Dan

Thank you for pointing out the error in relationship,
it has been corrected.
Reference: U'r correction request 4 Margaret.
the memorial # U referenced is a different Margaret that was born about 1800 (B & D dates not proven).
the dates U gave B. 1847 D. 1919 is Margaret Beltzhoover Hocker, wife of B. W. Hocker memorial # 40917767 and were already on her memorial.
I have a copy of the S.S.P.Cemetery Graves and I am quite aware of what is happening there.

Dan Thank you for the headstone of Eliz. McTeer.
Also, could you check the headstones for Capt. John Carothers says born 1739 Ireland-D.1782. The picture shows died 1797 age 59 years.
This looks like the same picture that is on John Carothers b. unknown-died 1798.
