Happy to help! I feel the same way you do...we all seem to accidentally create duplicates sooner or later! I appreciate all your nice Find A Grave work, I come across it frequently.
|Craig Hammer||Andrew Hammer|
I am the great grandson of Andrew. His only son Clarence was my grand father and my father is Norman Clarence, his oldest son. I came across this as I was looking for information about Andrew's mother Charlotte. Needless to say the information I found was heart breaking to read about her plight on this earth. My heart aches for her and what she endured. I have been to the Murray City Cemetary many times to see Andrew, Mary, Clarence and Afton's grave sites but didn't know until about 1989 that Andreas and his two wives were also there in unmarked graves. Do you know who was responsible for getting the headstone? I would like to thank them. Thanks for your posting of the pictures too.

Thank you so much, Elaine. Yes, he was my grandfather and a wonderful man.
|Melissa Manwaring Layton||Thanks!|
Thank you so much! They ARE very special to me. I went to Ricks College where Hyrum was president (not at the same time, lol) and my dad remembers them and their house very well. I just signed into this website so I'm not sure how it all works yet. And, I'm not sure who is just a manager of the person, or if they are really related to that person. Thanks for the tips!

Are you related to Hyrum and Bessie Bird Manwaring? If not, could you transfer them to me? I'm their great granddaughter.

Thank You sooooo much for all you have done for Find A Grave Friends and especially for me. You have been so kind and dedicated to your volunteer service. I canít number the times when you helped me with photos and information that led to solving, sometimes, years of mystery. I will miss you. I feel like you are family.
I am sure Mayor Cooper will do fine however, remember, you can never actually be replaced, only to be assisted in what you have already done, and then they must do their own thing.
I know you will be blessed for all you do.

Hello Elaine -
It's always amazing how life leads us down certain paths and then provides clues along the way : ) First of all, thanks for your care and contributions to this site and thanks for your e-mail. Yah sure, you betcha I'll send info that I find along to you.
I have been doing spring cleaning in addition to coming across this site, and wanted to find my favorite picture of Dad (which I posted here). Just this morning, I was looking through a box of stuff and found Dad's address book, probably from when he was in the Navy. And guess whose names I came across -- Blaine and Elaine Berger. Like someone once said, you can't make this stuff up! It would be really terrific to continue this conversation via e-mail, if you're comfortable with that. My e-mail is ub40u2 (the number 40) at yahoo. I will so look forward to hearing from you!
Best wishes - Lauran
