Wallace Stills
Hello Michael! My name is Andrea and I am trying to help my 72 year old grandmother find out information about her father and other family. She was born during WWII to a woman named Ida, who gave her away at birth. When she grew up she was given information by a friend of her adopted mother that her biological fathers name was Wallace Stills. Do you know anyone by this name and are you of any relation? Get back to me and let me know. I'd absolutely love for my grandma to have this information that she's wondered about all of these years. Thank you

RE: Taylor L Stills
I just read again what you wrote... You asked me to approve the parent updates so you could "delete your version of the profile", but you didn't delete it... you moved. Did I miss something?

RE: Margaret Beachteal Photo
You're very welcome Michael... Sorry I didn't find the rest of the stone for you... Beachteal is how the name is spelled in the Cemetery Inscriptions of Stark County, Ohio, 1982, Volume 2 book... For the Weimer Hill Cemetery that book is a re-copy of the Cemetery Inscriptions of Stark County, Ohio; Heald, Blue and Paxton, 1955... For the 1982 project they did not re-transcribe the cemetery... I'll keep an eye out in my photos for the other half of Margaret's stone and the stone of Mary, I'm still going over the photos I took...

RE: Alice Nelson Beebout
Cemetery records state that Alice was born in Tuscarawas county Ohio and that she was born in 1849. Per census records the only Alice Nelson I found in Tuscarawas county Ohio was this Alice.

Alice Nelson married Winfield Beebout in Stark county Ohio in 1870 [found on familysearch.org]. Winfield was a son of Dr James L and Jane Martin Beebout who are interred in Paris Twp. Stark county Ohio. James was a son of Josiah and Susanna Nelson Beebout. In 1850 this couple [Josiah and Susanna] lived in Tuscarawas county Ohio. Another connection? I have several branches that 'loop' like that.

Does Mary Ann's will mention children of her daughter? Alice died after David and before Mary Ann. Sometimes a deceased child's offspring is willed their parent's share of the estate.

'Sorry for the confusion. A lady was looking for
someone to answer a question on that memorial.
I thought you were he.

I have the right lady, but the location of her burial is still being worked on by several people. The records for that cemetery are only
partially available on line.

I am curious about this lady. Was she a professor of drawing and design?

Crabtree is located in current Highland County VA
The VA counties changed over the years, Highland was once part of Augusta County, VA and Pendleton County as well as others, you may want to research the county history and pursue your search.
I have attached links to assist in your search.
