My brother Alan Gudknecht and I have been researching the Philadelphia Gudknecht family for many years. We are descendants of Christian Gutknecht/Gudknecht I who arrived in Philadelphia in 1749. His son, Christian Gutknecht II, served in the militia in Germantown during the Revolutionary War. We are also researching the names Bowman/Baumann, King/Keen, Leamy, Calhoun/Colguhoun, and Barr.|

Could you tell me the exact address of this cemetery? How does one get there? Is there an office or a church located near this cemetery? I have some Bleil people buried there that I would tombstone pictures for.

You are most welcome. I've also added MAry E. Fitch's gravemarker (J J Fitch's wife) as well.
I just wanted to let you know...the address where you have Norman Gudknecht's grave is incorrect. He is not buried in Philadelphia. The cemetery is Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton, NJ. Just thought you might want to have that updated info.

I just connected Helen Phelps Gudknecht up to her husband, Charles. Apparently, Helen went to live in Pasadena, California with her niece after Charles died.

Actually, they had Christian's marker set aside by the receiving vault. I have no idea where his grave might be, but I guess you know how overgrown it is in the back there. Did they tell you what section he is in? I have a map.
|Buddy from Budd Lake||Greetings from Philadelphia|
I just want you to know I spent part of my day in the Palmer Street Cemetery. Thank you for your contributions.
