Borderline of Cemeteries
Karen, I was just at Elmwood Cemetery near Equality, and was told the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery is right next to Elmwood. Do you know where the dividing line is located?

Karen, Would you please consider transferring your memorial to me. Mary Ann Nave Allen is my wife's maternal grandmother. My wife is deceased, and I promised to keep track of her family. My Find A Grave member # is 47954981. Thank you!.

Keep up the great work and never stop researching.

RE: George Shaw #94875137
Karen,

Thank you for offering to check the marker, but I think I may have figured it out. It is hard to read, but the parts I can make out look like:
SON OF
J W & M L (?SHAW?)
DIED ?????
NOV ?? 1898
Nothing adds up to this being for my George Shaw, so I think you just placed the photo on the wrong memorial.

Then I looked at other Shaws listed in this cemetery, and I think the photo must be of the marker for Arthur E Shaw #179530207. The information on his memorial shows that he was born 10 Sept 1892 and died 13 Nov 1898. A note in the bio section reads: “Son of J. W. & M. L. Information obtained from Cemeteries Saline County Illinois Volume V.”

If you would remove the photo from memorial #94875137 (my George Shaw), I would appreciate it. I don’t want to cause confusion for anyone else. As far as I know, there are no other Shaws in this cemetery with an immediate connection to my George Shaw.

I do appreciate all your efforts.

Donna

Karen, you have added a photograph for my memorial #94875137. I can’t make sense of the info on the marker, but it is hard to read. Are you able to provide an inscription from when you took the photo?

Greetings,

May I please use the photo from this memorial on my great Aunt's memorial? Hers is 178104109.

Not sure why, but my great Aunt is buried with a nephew. Perhaps because she never married, so her sister buried her? May never know, but would be nice to have the headstone photo on her mem.

Thanks much,
Kim

Photo Permission
Karen, May I have permission to include your photos from Mt Zion Cemetery in my database. I have a number of relatives who are buried there. Thanks.

Hello. I wanted to thank you for the grave stone photo of Eliza Keever Glass. I'm wondering if you would grant me permission to use your photo (and any other of your photos of my ancestors) on my Ancestry.com files. I place credit to the photographer on the description of the photo. I have no interest in the photo for anything other than genealogical purposes.

Thanks for your consideration.

129795907 Zella Bluford Hampton
Karen, I am in search of two siblings of Bluford Hampton who died young named, Dora born in 1901 D: before 1910 and Mary Madeline born 1909 died before 1920. Their parents lived in Equality in 1910 & 1920 census so I figure they have to be buried close by. Since Bluford is buried there, I figure these two sisters are too.

Do you by any chance know if Elmwood Cemetery in Gallatin County has been inventoried and if so, and when?

I see you took picture of Bluford's marker, was their any other Hampton's close by except his wife and son?

Thanks for your help, Kaye
