I will not transfer any memorials if relationship is not listed. If it is not listed in the SAC, I will just ignore it.|
NOTE: I will not be doing any transfers (except 4 generation) of any memorials for Myrtle Hill Cemetery until I get all the information on F A G. If you have info to help speed this up please send thru SAC. I especially will NOT do a transfer if you do not add YOUR F A G number and explain your relationship.
I have been researching my family & my husband's family for over 28 years. I have always loved cemeteries since I was a child. Cemeteries have always been a place of reflection and remembrance for me, even if I don't have family buried there. I currently serve as Director of the Rome, GA Family History Center, work in the Heritage Room at the Rome-Floyd Co. Library in Rome, GA, President of the Floyd County Cemetery Preservation Committee and as Secretary in the Georgia Municipal Cemetery Association. As you can see, I only do a "little" genealogy!
I am happy to make corrections or additions. Please give me time to make them. If I have not done it in 30 days, PLEASE send it again. If you would like me to transfer management of any of the memorials I have listed, please feel free to ask.
Please use the "Suggest A Correction" for any corrections or to ask for transfers. Any requests made through the messages will be deleted. You do not need to limit yourself to the 20 per week recommended by F A G, so, send as many as you wish as often as you wish! Thank you.

I'm looking for the parents for Martha Peeler Stockstock. I found a Martha Peeler born 1852 parents Allen Peeler 1813-1880 and Edea Bryant 1820-?. The dates don't add up so I was hoping you might know. Thank you! Donna Freeman
|Pat Galloway||Ella Taylor|
My name is Pat Galloway and I found your name on Find A Grave. I have been trying to find my great grandmother Ella Taylor and her husband Thomas Taylor for years. I am not sure if this is the correct Ella. I have no idea what became of them. According to a cousin they were both killed in a buggy accident when our grandmother was very young.
I was wondering how you placed Ella on Find A Grave. Do you have records and if so do you know exactly where the grave is at Myrtle Hill?
My email address is: email@example.com
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks, Pat G.

Thank you so very much for the pictures you took of him and his wife. I am doing research on this family and have found several different ways to spell this name and still be connected. I have been using find a grave and the photos you take will help me confirm the spelling of his last name.

|Colton Copeland||Edward Lester Millican III's Grandson|
My name is Colton Ryon Copeland and I am the grandson of Edward Lester Millican III and Gladys Mae Lucky. My mother is Susan Michelle Copeland, née Millican. I noticed that you had a Millican family tree on Ancestry.com, and that you even had a photograph of my grandfather's birth certificate and grave site. I have had a rather unfortunate time in tracking the Millican line; I hit a bit of a dead end at Andrew Jackson Millican, Sr., born in 1755 in Rutherford, North Carolina. I have a vague record showing that his father might have been named William Millican, but there is no birth date, death date, residence, or even a name of his spouse. There is a running theory in the family that the Millicans might have been either Irish or Scottish. That vague record that I mentioned of a "William Millican" had a note attached that indicated that he might have been from Ireland, but there is no indication of a town or county. If you would be so kind as to grant me a "Guest" role on your Millican-Watson family tree, (that has a whopping person count of over 55 thousand people), I would be forever grateful so that we may continue along the Millican line before their settlement in the United States. I'd very much like to report back to my mother, aunts and uncle a clear answer about our family history and origins. Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your time and consideration,
Colton R. Copeland
