Bio

Some prominent names in my family tree are:

Barnes-Green-Sindle-Porter-Purvis-McNutt-Hall-Jones

I grew up in Arkansas, but subsequently spent 30 years in North Carolina. I now live in Florida.

I began researching my family's history about 10 years ago after my Aunt requested I do it in her memory. She lived 90+ years and I thought I owed her that much, but it turned out that I really enjoyed it and love the discovery of family history I never knew existed. Feel free to use any of the photos or information that I have posted on the www.findagrave.com memorials.

I have received some very nasty messages from some of the gravers/historians that contribute here, and I will say upfront, I don't like "mean" people. I consider bullies to be "mean" people, so you may want to be reflective.

www.findagrave.com is a database and is only as good as the information entered. Duplicates comprise the database and information keyed into the wrong fields will cause the memorial to sort improperly when being queried by users of the database.

I am a MS (multiple sclerosis) warrior and I fight the fight everyday. I have progressive MS and am unable to go out and research like I would if I were not ill, but I do what I can when I can. I have a huge family and hundreds of relatives so there is always something to work on.

I will help anyone in any way I can in their search, so if you have any suggestions or questions, please let me know. I am not a "historical glory hound" so I am not trying to amass as many memorials as I can. I will transfer or change as necessary unless they are my close family as well. My main goal is to preserve as much historical data as possible by populating the www.findagrave.com database with correct information. Once were gone, it may be lost forever unless we record it for prosperity.

www.findagrave.com developed the "edit" options in order for us to share corrections more easily. When someone asks for an edit, there is probably a very good reason for the request and it only requires the contributor to push a button to accept.

Happy Hunting!!!
