I currently live in Clark County, Ohio though I am not originally from here. I enjoy searching for my roots and also helping others find theirs. I have found information for my tree here and hope that by contributing to this project I can give back in some small way.|
I will gladly transfer memorials for those I am not related to.

|amys||RE: Anne Estella May Hornsby|
No, she is not buried with her son or anywhere else in the same cemetery here, Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder, CO, per the cemetery's burial ledger books. As I said, her mortuary record in Boulder, where she died, says that her remains (her body, in a casket) were shipped to Ft. Worth, Texas, for burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Howe Mortuary handled arrangements on this end (Colorado). Robertson, Mueller & Harper Funeral Home appears to have handled arrangement on the Ft. Worth end. You're saying on the one hand that you know she is NOT buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ft. Worth, but on the other hand, that's what you have as the burial location in her memorial. ??? It doesn't seem like it should be too hard to figure out where the mistake has happened. Was she buried in Rose Hill but subsequently removed, and that's why the cemetery told you "She's not buried here"?? Or, did you give them the wrong name (you had Anne Estella, instead of Anna Estelle, also remember it appears she went by just "Estelle") when you asked if she was buried there? Or, did a cemetery employee just miss something when they did a record search? Those are some ideas. We're all human, we all make mistakes. (-: For your convenience, I looked up the pertinent cemetery and funeral home in Ft Worth: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery phone number is 817-451-3333. Robertson, Mueller & Harper Funeral Home phone number is 817-924-4233. Good luck, and I would love to hear how this turns out. -Amy

|James Blodgett||Robert Grundemann|
I have a record which indicates that Robert Grundemann was born March 3, 1895 in Albion, Michigan, and died in Collinsville, Illinois, on August 29, 1914, due to his car being struck by a railroad engine. If you are further interested, I could stop by the library in Collinsville and see if they digitized their newspapers to see if there was a news story on the accident.
|Diane Mills||Hattie Belcher|
If you will set up the memorial, I can post photo for Hattie Belcher 1880-1952. I have a photo of the family monument but having trouble getting it positioned tonight with my new resizing program. Hopefully I can post it later. This is Maple Grove in Hudson, MI.
Thanks for the photo of Alfred Spencer's tombstone. Your work in find a grave is appreciated.

|Gerrie-Ellen Johnston||Kapp Familey|
My husband and children are relatives of the Kapp Family buried in Lebanon Cemetery. We searched for quite a while to find them and I visit the cemetery often. They were from Mt. Vernon, NY and so are we. They came out to farm and so did we. I am looking for relatives connected with the plot in Lebanon. There must be other relatives here in Mo. Can you help me?
|Larry Liles||RE: Abner Hester, Hester Cemetery|
I descend through Rebeca Liles' brother Rev Thomas Liles who married Mary Russel. I was told by the county historian that my Roane County Liles Family Tree was a hairball and I have spent some time sorting them out. Many in the county could not prove Newton and Major Lindsay Liles to a parent and I found evidence in the Civil War pension records in the National Archives linking them to Rebeca. I still do not know their father. Only William Hester and Abner Clinton Liles were linked to Abner Hester through Bastardy Court claims. Abner Liles stayed in Morgan County. William and his wife died soon after the Civil War and left a daughter as a ward to another family, in McMinn County

Dana: Thank you so much for the photo of Clifford's headstone. (Wow you move fast)
If I can be of any help in my area of Tennessee just let me know. It's people like you that keep this site moving in the right direction and help people keep in touch with their family's history.
I salute you.
