|Kris Peterson||Thomas Hammack|
Oh how I wanted this to be true. I've searched for Thomas Hammack for years and this was sitting under my nose and I had never seen it. Never the less, I don't believe it is true. The death certificate for the Thomas Hammack who died on 10 August 1930 in Quincy, Adams, Illinois, has his parents as Benjamin Hammack and Elizabeth Hull and spouse Sarah Hammack. It also shows him born on 24 Dec 1842. I am still looking for the Thomas Hammack you listed who is married to Minnie. I have not found his death date nor location. He is listed on his sisters obituary as still living in 1935 in St. Louis.

I would like to thank you for transferring the memorial for Henry Spencer Wells, a soldier in the Fourth Michigan Infantry, to me. I really appreciate it. I have just posted some additional information about him, including his military service, on his memorial, in case you are interested. Take care, George
