There seems to be a FLAW in the way the new edits are being done, spouses are coming up in bright RED UNKNOWN, & recently found another with the location of death, when in FACT it is RIGHT, I have had this happen when I send edits also, hopefully this can be fixed. I have been saving the spouse # and re-adding it after the edit is done. I'm afraid this error is taking a lot of correct information off unfortunately.|
PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. If there are a lot of requests only the ones listed might be taken when it's a quick stop. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.
It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.
I know it's important to have "facts", some think an official document such as birth, marriage or death certificate is correct. Sadly that is NOT always correct. There will always be conflicting information. Don't get upset when there is an error, just do your best to try to have it corrected, when there is another source, add the information in a note for one or the other. Try to always be nice, this site is great to help find our roots and follow all the branches. :) Genealogy = Confusing the dead and annoying the living.-by Unknown Author. I'm sure I "annoy" quite a few. I use ~ to mean not just now, but always~

|Pat Moritz||RE: Parker In Humboldt|
Thanks so much, for solving my mystery. My husband was born in Humboldt, we were back in 2014 searching for graves. We were really disappointed we could not find Erma and George's. There is no living family there now, but cemetery is full of Moritz's, Westphals, Scotts and Parkers.
Erma's parents are James Jones #75426427, Beatrice Jones # 75425670, Pawnee City Cemetery. It looks like you are the administrator of theirs also, that makes it easy.
So many graves so little time :)
Thank you again for your time and effort, it is very much appreciated.

I hope they get it fixed too. Thanks for doing that.

|Pat Moritz||RE: Parker In Humboldt|
Erma's parents are buried in Pawnee City.
I know that Erma's daughter Margie Deeringer was cremated and buried with her and was suppose to have a plaque. I have been to the Humboldt Cemetery, but could never find their graves. I thought maybe this why I couldn't find them that they were in Pleasant View. I just spoke to my mother in-law, Erma's daughter Ina, she said they are buried in the Humboldt Cemetery and she would know :)
Anyway, let me know if you get it solved and I will correct the information I have.
Appreciate you grave hunters :), takes time and energy.
|Pat Moritz||George and Erma Parker|
I noticed that George and Erma Parker are listed as buried in both Pleasant View Cemetery, Auburn Nebraska and in Humboldt Cemetery Humbolt, NE. The information is the same.
George # 54878170
Erma # 54878168
George # 103936992
Erma # 103939930
George and Erma are my husbands grandparents and I do know that their bodies are buried in the Humboldt Cemetery. Is Pleasant View for Veterans and they only have plaques and if so is there a way to designate where the actual bodies are buried.
I appreciate your help in solving my mystery.
Thank you so much
