FYI:I just think, I'm turning, off my cable & internet . sorry. I will use the library web when I can..;;;;;;;;;;;;; PLEASE USE EDIT TAB FOR CORRECTIONS ,ITS TOP RIGHT ON MEMORIAL PAGE. I approve of them with 1 push of a button.if anyone wants info i have books on church records for Zion , n UCC in Kratzerville, also Salem in Sel, N also Glendale in Middleburg n also, can get,but i gave away the records for St Johns in Mt.Pleasant Mills,Pa..ty.i do not recreate any names, referring to the middle initials of married woman, i just learned this , bc i saw epitaphs where the middle initial did not match the middle name, it was the maiden name initial.plus my alive 90 year old cousins told me this bc its on their graves already,.. sometimes not always, but more than u think.... .Yes you may use my photos as u please, but be so kind to give me credit when using them,ty..Also, I replaced my 5mp camera with a 18 mp. so my photos will be more clear..I will transfer non family names, so just ask..I miss all my late relatives, even the ones I only heard stories about.they r all loved & missed & helped me be the person I & my kids are today.also if u want me to delete a site i will as long as its not my family or friends or something i have a i interest in.|
Also, having 3 kids , keeps me busy, so if I don't have the dates up right away ,it's because I just got up the names for now, & will add dates asap.sorry for any inconvenience...we work together...plus I add the pics asap also. psss please look on the" Snyder County PA Gen Web" under cemeteries, they have list there to check ur location of graves.Although I have been informed by cemetery workers that whole graves have been dug up & moved to other cemeteries, that is another reason why some are not found where we thought they are.If u see u cant find someone at a cemetery,,,,maybe they are not there, look on this web page....ty...Also see Union County Pennsylvania Cemetery records, that has names dates too , nice listings for information in that county. Also Juniata county has a nice cemetery listing wth names in a lot of cemeteries. Also if u r looking for veterans information, Snyder County web site has a nice list under Veterans affairs , cemeteries listings, then also a listing of where they buried & a list what war they in, very nice, although I having used it intensely, found a few/ maybe couple errors since I have used it inside & out & walked the cemeteries row by row taking pics. So its not 100% but pretty good any questions just ask me.okay Ty.ALSO:::Please note the following when buring person buried in this cemetery:Grubbs...
SNYDER COUNTY was created from Union County on 2 March 1855
UNION COUNTY was created on March 22, 1813, from part of Northumberland County.
Also;;;;I hereby appoint the Juniata Mennonite Historical Society as steward over my memorials upon my death. Its Contributor FAG# is 47941642. Tiffany Stuck June 22, 2014:;;;;;;alsoooo; please always hit the button to the left on a memorial u create that says all that last name memorials in this town, not just cemetery, bc u will SAVE A LOT of Dups from being created n then need deleted later.. Also; note:::;use these sites to help you do your research; www.mcusa-archives.org/MennObits/index.html , like for Juniata County etc. also;ThePaGenWeb Project,Liberty bell scroll down to Snyder County, Archives-transcriptions. |Jim Steffen||Thank you|
Thanks Tiffany for posting my Dads info on here. My wife also photographed cemeteries when we lived in the Chicago area and she always appreciated hearing from family members who found their relatives grave photos online.

Not sure how to manage a page. It up to speed completely with technology. Will try to follow up.

Thank you for the photos of my maternal great-grand mother's grave in Sunbury Cemetery. I noticed the list of children is missing 7 of the 8 they actually had. I never knew these grand-parents, as my mother and her siblings were all placed in foster homes. No contact.
I sent a corrected list to the site today.

I hadn't taken on board until now that you are managing 6800+ memorials, but I certainly don't wish to add to your workload! My contacting you was about comparing notes, you know, speaking with someone who visited the grave site itself, perhaps. I still would like to explain to myself the contrasting data I laid out to you earlier, but I can live with uncertainty for now (or forever, if necessary), or at least until I can visit Snyder County, which is under 3 hours from my home. Sometime this spring or summer, perhaps. May I write you here nearer to that time about any pointers for visiting Salem Lutheran Cemetery?

Thank you very much for your response. My contributor number can be found at the top of the page when you open the link (my name) at the top left of this post.
|John Hileman||Anna Margaret (Heilman) Glatfelter|
This is regarding memorial 23999050. I believe her parents, as listed, are incorrect.
Anna Margaret was born in York County. She was a daughter of Johannes (b. 1716, d. 1786) and Anna Mary (Maria) (d. 9/23/1788) Heilman who lived in Codorus Township, York County.
Johannes #128344593 and Anna Mary #128344731 are interred at St. Paul (Zeigler's) cemetery in Seven Valleys, York County. There is no marker.
I offer the following as evidence. Please see the pdf regarding Henry Glatfelter www.glattfelder.org/images/Docs/Reports/henry.pdf page 2.
Also, please see the will of Johannes on his memorial page. An abstract of the same information can be found on page 4 of the "Heilman Source Book" (a paper copy is available at the State Library). "In the will of John Heilman, Codorus township, dated November 27, 1786 and probated January 3, 1787, he mentions his wife, Anna Maria.... and Mrs. Henry Glatfelter."
Therefore, Anna Margaret (Heilman) Glatfelter is not directly connected to the Heilman family of Lebanon County.
Thank you for your consideration of the request.

Am wondering what is the evidence for your gravestone dates of Amelia Boyer (1843-1845), especially the death date, 1845. The reason I ask is that there is an Amelia ("Emilia") Boyer, age 7, in the 1850 Census household of Henry and Abby Boyer, plus 2 brothers William (age 9) and Daniel (3); Penns Twp., Union Co. Likewise, in 1860 again in Penns Twp., this family group appears, roughly 10 years older, but accompanied by 2 more children: Sarah & Franklin. It seems a very strong case that Amelia did not die in 1845, when I use your prodigious work with gravestones for all these family members.
My particular interest arises because of an 1870 Census record for a 27-yr old Amelia and husband Peter Boyer in Clearfield Co., PA. My great grandmother (Anna S.) is there as a 1-year old child in the household. I'm thinking a different daughter of Henry & Abigail has been confused for Amelia, but I wanted to run it past you before I continue on.
