I started researching the Blanche side of the family last year. Somehow I found my way here and now I'm hooked.It has become a great pastime hobby.I work as an analyist and this is right up my alley. And my wife approves of my new hobby. |
I was born in Maine, and have lived in Maine all of my life. I'm married to a wonderful wife and partner who loves to fish as much as I do.We have 3 grown children who are all doing well. I have 2 others with my first wife,both doing well and giving us grandchildren.Not much else to ask for.

Thanks Jim. I like to make sure the info is accurate and I just recently found her birth record. I will look at the the rest of the family to see if I have any documented up dates.
|Carol Gosselin||azuba quimby|
I am a descendant of Preserved Partridge. I found Azuba's correct birth date in The town records of Milford. Date of birth is incorrect on tombstone. I can scan and send to you if you want a copy. I found the record on Americanancestors.org.
Hi Jim. Just wanted to say that thanks to your posting a photo of his gravestone here on Find a Grave, I was able to find the resting place of my great-great-grandfather, Alvin F. Welch, and thereby also learned he served in the 10th Maine Infantry during the Civil War. Without your photo he would have been a lot harder to find, so thank you, and keep up the good work!
Would you please look at the edits in Find A Grave I entered on the Smith family in Sebago Lake Village Cemetery,Standish,ME. I am trying to link family members. Thanks so much.

Thanks a lot, Jim! I've written to him twice with no reply. I wonder if he's okay.
|Pat Swett||Margaret McPherson|
Margaret McPherson was not married to a Swett, her daughter Mabel Jennie was married to Maynard Lamont Swett. The family at one time had several grand and great grand mothers from both sides of the family living together in one home in Gorham, Maine. Margaret was my husbands great grandmother.

Blanch Elvina Drew Dennison
I am not certain I ever answered your message. She was my Great-Grandmother. If you check wikitree ( http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Drew-304) I posted some pictures of her that I found in my grandmothers belongings. She did have a fascinating but confusing story. I wasn't sure if I should trace Blanche or Drew! :)

Thank you for your kindness in transferring the Rackliff memorials to me. Wish you the very best.
|Bob Gantz||RE: Edwin F. Small|
I collect old photography and when I can I like to see if I can find a place for them on F.A.G.
|Bob Gantz||Edwin F. Small|
I posted a photo and some Bio info on Edwin I found. The photo was in my collection of photography collected over the last 45 years. Seems only fitting that his site has a photo of him now.
There is "some" material on him on Ancestry, but I have yet to find any photos of him.
Possibly you might want to use this to add to his memorial page?
