Mount Wood Cemetery
It is highly likely that John J. Long (160736587)buried at Mount Wood Cemetery is a brother to my gg-grandfather. Someone visited the cemetery and gave me information that made me question if this is the John J. Long that I am searching for and I would love to see the gravestone. We know that John moved to West Virginia as a young man and the details from sources correspond to the information that I have. Is there any way you can get me a photo of the grave stone or check to see if there are records of this John J. Long and his wife. The one that I am looking for was born in 1845 in Briery Branch, Rockingham, Virginia. Thank-you very much, Karen White

I see you took the photo so thought I'd ask if you know where I can find a list of burials there. I am searching for several people and can't verify if they are buried there. thank you for any help.

I see that you have visited the following cemetary before and I was hoping that you might be willing to make another trip? I am in desperate need of a photo of this grave stone to confirm if this is Lydia Elizabeth Riggs Cockayne. I have just received proof that this may be my direct Ancestor's (Alvin Riggs) mother. Alvin was an illegitamate child. His father was A. with no last name listed on his death certificate. Greatly need your assistance.

Birth: 1808, USA
Death: Mar. 2, 1886
Ohio County
West Virginia, USA

Thank you so much for taking and posting the pictures of the tombstone. His niece has just started reseaching this uncle who came from Ireland and will be delighted with these pictures. As I understand it, he was pretty prominent in the diocese.

I have placed new names on the BoardTree Cemetery.
Question do you have any information on the Boardtree area. My surnames for this area are Hughes, Murphy, Fitzgerald,Rodgers/Rogers,Markey
I have not been able to find anything on the Church or the community in the time frame of my relatives living there. 1850-1890
I do have relatives at the Littleton, Catholic Church Cemetery.
My Aunt Ann Murphy King donated $10,000.00 for the care of this Cemetery at the time of her death in 2002. Have a great day
