RE: Mem. # 73797670
It appears there are other graves in the Alsabrook cemetery, but only William James Alsabrook is listed in this cemetery. I am looking for other family members. His daughter Mahalia A. Alsabrook Ray was my second great grandmother. Thank you so much for any information.

I have transcribed the obit you posted. I prefer to do this because the text then becomes searchable when doing a web search, whereas the scan does not. Please consider removing the scan, as it takes up one of the five permitted pictures and is now redundant. Thanks.

Easter Thank You 04 03 2015

In the event that I have not thanked you, personally, for the transfers that you have provided me with, I wish to do so at this time.

My retirement from all my social and family duties have dwindled down since my health has had the opportunity to allow me to beat my God given expiration date, with the help of family, fantastic physicians and hospital, and the implantation of a pacemaker. Rest is my priority when not doing some physical duties, yet Find A Grave and family ancestry tracing is still fun.

To all my Find a Grave friends, you have all been a tremendous help with your contributions to me and especially to this site.

Happy Easter, be safe, have fun and Thank You.

RE: Findagrave Photos
Phillip, I am researching my Preston ancestors at this time and a 1st cousin 4x removed (according to ancestry), married a Daniel and Ina Daniel married William Edd Strickland. They are buried in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodland, Randolph County, Alabama. I live in Georgia which is where most of my Prestons lived but a couple of them headed west. Becky

Re: J. W. Whitehead's Will

I don't have a copy of this Will, my information came from an abstraction of the Will that appeared in a book by the D.A.R.

You might be able to get a copy of the Will from the Probate Judge's office in the courthouse in Hartwell. It appeared in Will Book B (1894-1929), pp. 327-328. The Will was dated May 21, 1932.

RE: William Alsabrook Heard County GEorgia
How did ou find that he was buried here? also is there any other unmarked graves in this area? it looks as if in one of the pics you can see other broken stones.
