I became interested in genealogy in elementary school, and I started actively researching my family in middle school. I've enjoyed every adventure since then.|
I came across FindAGrave.com when I was trying to do some family research for my husband's family. After finding one of his family members, I decided to search for my own family. I was surprised to find that a number of my Dad's family in Missouri was already posted online with memorials. I was so grateful that someone had gone out of their way to input my family online. After all, they didn't have to. They weren't related to them, didn't know them. After that I decided to become a member in hopes of keeping alive the memory of my relatives as well as others even if I didn't have the privilege of knowing them, for I want to return the favor that was shown to me.
My husband, Mark, enjoys coming along and visiting cemeteries with me. He claims half the pictures we've posted he took, but I'm not so sure. :-)
Please leave me a message if I have made any errors in my listings, or if you have additional information.

You very kindly put up a picture of her grave and that of her baby half siblings. This is in Fort Worth Texas at the Oakwood cemetery.
I am interested as to the information you have regarding Mary. Please can you let me know where you obtained this information. Her father was my 2nd great grandfather.

Please see my earlier message regarding surname NIMS.
Thank goodness for the auto correct! After three weeks, the links went through for parents, and other SAC.
Are you still active?
|Frances Robb||Nelle Bone|
Hey Sarah I am doing an article on a photograph of Nelle Butler Bone Carter and one of her relatives told me that there was a picture of Nelle on her findagrave website. As the face in the photograph I am using is a bit out of focus, could you possibly send me a scan of her photo on the website, as high resolution as you can get. In exchange, I will send you a copy of the article when it comes out, and make a donation in your name to FindaGrave.

I have an actual headstone pic for Chris Allen Batterton, but am unable to place on his page because FAGrave has a limit of 5 photos. I would like to be able to put this up for his family. I am in progress of going through the cemetery there now and will continue working on every stone there. Thank you.
|Sue Downhill||Nims, Efnor, Brown, Burket|
I have submitted several SACs for linking this family line from Nims, to Efnor, to Brown, to Burket back to the progenitor Godfrey Nims through his son John Nims #30921710. Most of these you had created internal links before linking was created. I appreciate that, however, they do not show up through the Ancestry search engine. Hope this helps.

|Connor ||Sheila Schniederjan Morrow|
I have been looking for any descendants of Sheila Schniederjan Morrow and her mother Petronella Francis Schniederjan. I see that you listed your husband as being the great grandnephew of Sheila and was hoping you would have more information as to your husband's family. Please let me know if you have had any success with his side of the family!

|CEAB||Tom and Nancy Rosebery|
I have seen your postings of the Rosebery family. Are you a close descendant of this family? I came into possession of a 1928 anniversary quilt made for Tom and Nancy and I am trying to find a direct descendant to give it to. It has many family names embroidered on it. I am not a Rosebery descendant and want to find a good home for this precious quilt. Hope to hear from your soon.

|D. Blean||Dean Swift and Edmund O Efner|
Thank you for making the requested changes:
For others who may be interested, Philetus Swift (1763-1828) (Findagrave Memorial #48390199) m. Sally Dean (1774-1823) and they had son named Dean Swift (1794-1818) who married Ann Whiting (1790-1850), a sister to Mehitable Whiting.
Wish we could find the source of Edmund O Efner's name also. Devon

|D. Blean||Edmund Efner's #28120645|
Edmund Efner's mother was Mehitable Whiting (1798-1828) Find a Grave # 65767838. Who is Sarah Swift Efner? Could we please have her name removed?
Here is my Ancestry research if you would find it helpful and have an Ancestry account:
I see you have lots of Doty and Efner relatives. Edmund Efner was my 2nd great grandfather so I guess you and I would be related.
Thanks for your Find a Grave work. Devon
