Single mom, long time history buff, genealogy fanatic (not as much skill or time available as I'd like).Have loved cemetaries forever! Love the art, passion, historical relevance and solemnity. There is a sacred peace found in sitting quietly, respectfully amongst the tombstones. If only they could talk...My heritage includes French Canadian,Belgian,Dutch,Irish,Polish. Our family names include Cuene,Garvey,Gainor/Gaynor, Olejniczak,LeClair/LeClerc/LeClerq,|
Prince,Champagne,VanDycke,VanDyke (Two different family lines) Marshall (from Poland), Coughlin, Delacenserie,Reche/Raiche,
VonTroostenberghe, and many others. We enjoy celebrating our ethnic heritage and would dearly love to see an enthnic Heritage Cultural Museum established in this richly diverse area. The kids and I enjoy strolling around the graveyards looking for familiar names, so please do send requests. Will get to them as soon as possible!

I had just added Theo's memorial (he was Louisa's brother) and hadn't gotten around to requesting a photo. Next thing I knew, it magically appeared (thanks to Beth Thackeray) on his memorial for me.
I do have other relatives that were in the same area, but I haven't been able to find their burial information yet. On the Kellogg gravetsone, if you know the name let me know, as I've also got quite a few Kelloggs' that I'm researching. If you do get a chance to get a better shot of the Higgins gravestone I would really appreciate it. I'm putting all of the family information together for my cousin and she doesn't have a computer! If you want you can contact me through my e-mail.
Take care and again - thanks,
