Beauties Marie Butler
Hi Charlene, thank you for posting the info for Beauties. She was my aunt. Her mother was Harriett Ward Carnley and her father was William Lewis Carnley. She was born in Florida. Her ex husband Alfred Ramirez and my father Marvin Carnley went to San Marcos after Beauties was killed and brought her 2 daughters back to Panama City. There was a question about whether her death was an accident, but we do know it was a hit and run driver. From my research, her second husband was a pilot and killed in WWII. The ex husband and the girls relocated to Chicago and the girls are still living there.

Hector Cem.
Well,Charlene! I actually got photos of Hector Cem.
Had to get my husband to help with the three locked gates that lead to it. I e-mailed Roy Hector to get the combinations and he was very nice. I added photos for all of the stones we saw + one of the whole cemetery( The "reclaiming" of the cem. is very well done. Hopefully I got enough photos that we won't have to worry about getting through three locked gates again.

RE: Jennie (Hargis) Dixon
I haven't forgotten about our problem with Jennie. I don't see where anything has changed. Did you hear anything from Find A Grave. It might be too soon. If they merge the cemeteries, the problem will disappear.

Thank you, Charlene! I may go looking today. Kind of scope it out. I read the article and saw the photo but it didn't give the details I needed. Your description was much better.
I'll put my fence-climbing jeans on and drive over.
Like you I may need a "partner in crime"!
This requester is from England so I'd hate to disappoint her.

I claimed a request for Hector Cemetery but don't know exactly where it is and all directions seem vague.
Do you know exactly where it is?
I'm wondering if it's near the "antigue barn" on 123.

RE: Jennie (Hargis) Dixon
Too funny. In Find A Grave Cemetery listings I find both cemeteries you are talking about. The Martindale CITY Cemetery describes it as being across the street from the Baptist Church. My light bulb went on since her hubby was a Baptist Preacher. I wondered if that wasn't where he was preaching when she died.

I will sit tight and see what you come up with. Also, the creator might be working on the problem too. Such fun! Are the two cemeteries close to each other?

RE: Jennie (Hargis) Dixon
No I didn't. You probably sent the message to the creator and owner of the memorial. I can't make the changes since I don't own or manage the memorial.

Now I am confused. Is Martindale Cemetery, Martindale, Caldwell, Texas the WRONG cemetery?

What should I change the name to in my tree? I can at least correct that if I have it wrong.

The creator is Lori Risenhoover. The message probably got sent to her if you used the 'edit' key.

Let me know which is correct, and thanks

Jennie (Hargis) Dixon
What a treat to see the fine photo for Jennie (Hargis) Dixon. Really appreciate that you took the time to go to Martindale Cemetery, Martindale, Caldwell County in Texas in order to add this to Jennie's memorial. One more, never forgotten.
