I believe that Find A Grave is a great resource for individuals who are doing family research. This is one of the reasons I love to create memorials. I am rewarded when someone contacts me and tells me they have found a loved one and I am able to add information to the memorial or transfer the memorial to them. It is my hope that others will also find their loved one's resting place through Find A Grave.

RE: Hattie Opie memorial
Thanks! Marsha Benya and I were at Hope Union (on Hope Union Road) last Monday snapping pictures, and we have been recording them ever since.

When I add a memorial, if the death certificate says "Hope Union", I add it to the dedicated FAGrave Hope Union Cemetery page; if it says "Shiloh, then it goes with your guys.

And then, following my last message to you, I found the memorial for Betty Fanning and posted the photo of the marker.

Fanning graves
I found graves for Gus and Rosa Fanning at Rosewell Memorial Garden with other family members, not Mount Zion United Methodist Church, and I fulfilled your photo requests for them. I suggest you move the entries to the actual cemetery.

At Rosewell, I also photographed markers for Faye Virginia Fanning (Apr 24, 1916 - Feb 27, 1985) and Richard Davis Fanning (Oct 7, 1917 - Jan 5, 1996) with Gus and Rosa, and also Betty Fanning (Feb 18, 1935 - Apr 20, 2017) with Herbert H. Fanning. Do you want to create find-a-grave entries for them?

RE: Clarence Orndorff memorial
If you look at the Mt Hebron Cemetery page in the bottom left side, there are actually five adjoining cemeteries, some which are listed separetely (Stonewall Confederate Cemetery, German Lutheran Church Cemetery, Centenary Reformed United Church of Christ Cemetery aka German Reformed Church Cemetery and the General Daniel Morgan Veteran's Cemetery)
Edit the burial on Clarence Orndorff's memorial to the Centenary Reformed United since he is buried in the German Reformed section.
Hope this clarifies.
Thanks, Kimberly

Many thanks. My old eyes failed again! Recall the grave with the Brit flag but did not look at is closely.
